I've gotten mom to watch korean dramas (she's over 50), and she's never wanted to watch a tv-series ever. But she really likes korean ones, she's so supprised over it that it's funny.
Those she's seen is "City Hunter", "Faith", "Nine: Nine Times Time Travel", "Innocent Man" and currently watching "I Hear Your Voice". c:
We've watched a few Running Man episodes together as well, and she likes k-pop.

If I have children one day I'll make sure they watch asian dramas as well. I wonder how well your son's korean will get, really interesting! :3
