Rufeng’s mother, played by veteran Hong Kong actress Kara Wai, is the only one who’s dubbed.
Ah, I'm not a native Chinese speaker, so if you can distinguish her accent, you're probably correct.

I could be wrong, but I came across it somewhere on Weibo.

It's official, not rumored. 11.8 is stated on some of the official posters. Can't wait!
I'd commented before it was confirmed. :)

My heart was racing throughout the entire trailer. Now THAT'S how you hook an audience! Limited dialogue, but the visuals and music kept me on the edge of my seat. I pray for Zhang Huiwen's sake that this is a success. She needs a big break in her career.

November 8th is the rumored premiere date. Yu Zheng has been promoting the drama on Weibo the last few days, so it's likely coming soon.
On Marvelous Women Oct 24, 2021
They've obtained a distribution license for this, and are aiming for a quarter four broadcast. Taking into consideration the seasoned cast and strong plot, I'm hoping Yu Zheng delivers another masterpiece on par with Yanxi Palace and Winter Begonia.

Person Zhang Hui Wen
Agree! She has that same classic looks like them. There are many pretty actresses today but they can't quite hit…
You can watch some of her dance clips on YouTube. But yes, I find that the majority of young C-actresses these days fall into the cute girl-next-door category. There's a reason why Zhang Huiwen caught the attention of critically acclaimed director Zhang Yimou while she was still an undergrad student at Beijing Dance Academy. She stands out, because of her timeless beauty. Her features are a combination of Liu Shishi and Liu Yifei—delicate, yet exquisite. It's a shame she wasn't more active during her prime. She could've easily became one of the trendy actors of today had she taken the common route, and acted in tons of romance dramas at the peak of her youth.

Back here after The Flaming Heart's finale, and let me just say that if Zhang Huiwen doesn't start getting higher quality work as the female lead, I am really going to lose it. Future and upcoming projects, PLEASE do not let her down! She has too much potential to be wasted in subpar dramas one after another. Other than Nirvana in Fire 2, everything else has been a disaster. Someone find this girl better stories with decent writing and proper editing!

Cuteness of FL does not get you through the shit of a story line and poor screenplay, DROPPED!
Zhang Huiwen and Gong Jun are too good for this drama. Huo Yan is at least likable, but the writers really did Zhang Huiwen a huge disservice by making Yan Lan so incompetent and immature. Poor girl never got a chance to redeem herself with such an intolerable character.

From where did you know it's tentatively date.
Latest rumor on Weibo. The drama recently passed censorship, and is officially preparing to go on-air.

why? I actually didn't watch WOH and have watched all his previous work, he has a following w/o the WOH hype.....so…
I wouldn't be too concerned for Gong Jun. C-netizens' reactions to the trailer were considerably favorable, and there's also anticipation for his pairing with the lead actress (Zhang Huiwen) as this is his first BG drama following Word of Honor.

Person Zhang Hui Wen
Of all the post-90s actresses in Chinese entertainment, Zhang Huiwen is the only one who captivates me. A natural, classic beauty like her is rare these days. I love how graceful and understated her acting is in costume dramas. It reminds me of those iconic actresses from the early 00s-10s. If someone told me Zhang Huiwen is the little sister of Liu Yifei or Liu Shishi, I'd believe it. Not only do they resemble each other, but they're all trained in dance as well. Fingers crossed that she strikes gold with The Flaming Heart, Ice Heart in a Jade Pot and The Matriarch. This girl deserves to be in the limelight, and she just needs the right role and script to propel her to stardom!

I’m really intrigued by Zhang Huiwen’s character. She's billed after Jiang Qinqin, yet one would assume based off the synopsis that Yang Rong is the second female lead. The only information that's been revealed about Lin Shufang so far is that she's a maid, but there must be more to her...

It's the drama already finish filmed?
Filming wrapped up last November.

Zhang Huiwen is a femme fatale in here. I was completely mesmerized during the rooftop dance sequence. She should do more daring roles!
On Heart of Loyalty Apr 21, 2021
This seems promising coming from the production company and costume designer behind Word of Honor, screenwriter of The Bad Kids, and author of Under the Power. I'm so eager to see a preview. Hopefully, Mo Yan does wonders for Zhang Huiwen's career!
On The Flaming Heart Apr 5, 2021
My expectations are high simply due to Gong Jun and Zhang Huiwen's cute interactions behind the scenes. I'm just skeptical about the plot giving justice to their chemistry being that this is a tribute drama, and the romance might be limited. They've wrapped up filming since February, so hopefully we'll get to watch it before the year ends.
