to get things straight, I've read the book then watched the movie, and I am most certainly glad I did this. The movie wasn't bad at all, I liked it; the fact that I know little details from the book added to the movie, it made it more pleasant.
Some people aren't going to like this movie (especially those who haven't read the book), but then again, as Murakami said: some people like his style of writing, some not.

as a matter of fact I think I can name one: Confessions.
I've watched love exposure and I was kind of disappointed..I don't know..the story was interesting..and I can handle gory stuff pretty well, but I didn't like this one.
On the other hand, Confessions IS an amazing,awesome,incredible..movie. It made 2 hours feel like 2 minutes (which I believe tells you something about it)..and on the first two reviews you will see that it's got straight 10s and that's for a reason...

I didn't really like this movie. I found the story cute but I couldn't get through the first 40 minutes as it bored me pretty badly..

me too. actually I'm done with 2 exams and 2 are coming next week. is SPEC a movie and a drama? If I'm not mistaken I tried to watch the movie but I stopped for whatever reasons. you should watch liar game! it's amazing.

hello! I'm so happy you came across my profile; I read your description, and I agree with you, I think we'll get along. especially the OOR part. I simply love them. I can't seem to get bored with their songs, for the past year I've mainly listened to them. But man, it's not fair, you're just 5 months older than me and yet you've still watched so many dramas o.o. I don't f*cking know why I was f*cking ignoring this f*cking drama the whole f*cking time. It is f*cking amazing. Sorry for so much 'f*cking', but I'm so mad at myself that I ignored this drama for so f*cking long..it's an awesome one!
