I really loved this version. I am not sure if I am going to watch POB anymore. Caesar Wu is extra hot in this one and I don't think Liu Yuning can be even close to this.
I know a lot of fans are frustrated that Caesar is casted for a vertical drama instead of a full length one. Caesar is really talented and his acting is really good. In my opinion Caesar is naturally sexy, which is really hard now days. Fans think that just a good shape and a beautiful face it is enough to be considered sexy but that is not it. Li Jiu Lin is naturally sexy! Caesar is naturally sexy! What it is missing from short dramas it is an actor that is naturally sexy and that in my opinion it's Caesar. I hope he is casted in more short dramas .
One of the best dramas ever..it's been six years now and it's still my most favorite drama. Every time I hope i find one to surpass it but nothing will. Wishing all cast and crew Merry Christmas!
On episode 6 so far. I love Cheng Yufeng. Not a fan of the fl but she is quite ok. The storyline doesn't make much sense But it's really entertaining and funny, to me. I would watch anything as long as Cheng Yufeng stars in it.
I really love this drama but it stresses me out. I mean those two are untouchable when it comes in plotting and scheming but when it comes to accenting their feelings they are the worst. I am on episode 7 and they are driving me crazy
What a roller-coaster that was. Great storyline, beautifull chemistry between everyone not just the main couple, great costumes, i liked almost everything besides the constant battle and scheming. It feels like they tried to get as many frame plans they could and just built the story around it. I don't mind that but after the third time i grew tired of it and wished for more interactions between the main couple. I gave it an 8 and probably going to watch it again sometime in the future. 😁
I really loved this drama. A light-hearted comedy with a spice of romance. I know lots of viewers have been disappointed due to the lack of romance. This drama followed the lives of four concubines and their habit of meddling with everything especially Bu Meng, our heroine.
The emperor and her romance with him ,I think was the cherry on top. You don't get to see much of him but when you do all things come to place.
In my opinion the crew was way too sadistic. They gave us small doses of the Emperor and made us yarn for more.
I read somewhere that it was suppose to be a 45 episode drama. . Such a shame. I wish they could give us the rest of the episodes.
I really loved it. A fast pased crime action drama. Even though it was less than 20 minutes episode, it was complete and made absolute sense. Loved Hei Ze in, a great vulnerable hero with great sense of what is right. Brian Chang was phenomenal, gone straight to my psycho-lunatic male lead. Gao Xuyang was the best buddy ever, trusting his friend with his life and giving all his energy for his friend.
As for the bromance side of the story, I haven't noticed such a thing. All i witnessed was brotherhood (Shisan-Sang Tuo) and commradship (Shisan-An Fei).
Completed tonight. Really loved it. I think anyone who is reluctant should give it a go. I have to say that even though I love Ding Yuxi playing kind of a cold face it is an easy job. The one that really stand out in it was Mao Zijun. I think it was his best role ever.
On 23 so far. Really slowburn but satisfying. Concentrates on case solving mostly. Still lucks of side stories. I am really interested to see how the Black Fiend mystery unfolds. I really love Liu Nian's mother. At points I really want to slap the fl, but lets be honest, it's all the ml's fault from the beginning, but who can blame Ding Yuxi 😉
I am currently on ep 11 and i have to say that it feels like Under the Power in a different version with more case solving and without the constant sacrificing for each other. What it mostly lucks (up until ep 11) in my opinion are the side stories, I think it would have given it more depth. And what it really lucks it is a master villain like Yan Shifan. All in all i really love it and can't wait to see how the drama evolves. 😃 😊 😀
