I'm a fan of Hot messes, but I'm not sure what happened here. To be honest The last episode had me more drawn in to find out who "James" was or what kind of trouble he was going to cause. I kept checking to see if there was another episode, even though it said Finale. Oh well... I will assume he was the long-lost brother of the long-lost plot of this story. So overall I liked it enough to finish it.

I don't write too many reviews, mainly because everyone is different and will not have the same opinions. This series was good, very soapy... I did enjoy it, and it was a rollercoaster of emotions, but I have to say one thing... could we get a little more feeling out of any of the characters after Lahb dies?! The love of your life attempts to kill himself because of you and your crazy mother; then he loses his life because you could not talk him down ( Like I don't know.... "I do love you"... just a thought) and had to try to get the gun away from him. I repeat, the love of your life, and there are basically zero emotions... a few tears here and there... Now I know Lahb was a little cray cray too... but who wouldn't be after being pulled this way and that way from the man you love. Sigh... I know nothing can change, and I don't think there will be any more episodes or seasons... I guess I will have to write my own script... I was secretly hoping that Lahb ended up not being dead, like on the way to the hospital, he wakes up...I thought this only because of the lack of emotions from everyone.... mainly from Seua...I figured there had to be a mistake...Sigh again.
