I also think her backstory also appropriately explains why she lies so much. It does not excuse it but it does make sense. She was used to things being taken away from her so she was willing to use any means possible to keep what she has. And the show doesn't present her lying as right. the point is she needs to grow away from it. Anyway this is probably too much analysis for a largely silly show

I don't personally understand viewers who want all main characters to start off a show without flaws. IMO a worthwhile story has character growth. it's totally fair to drop this if lying particularly bothers you, but for others I recommend giving this a real try. The growth by the end in the FL and their relationship is pretty nice.

Underrated gem. It was so refreshing to have a love triangle where both options were fundamentally decent and kind people who supported the FL completely.

You can really tell this when he smiles. He smiles brightly in both shows but the meaning and emotion behind the smiles are completely different.

I could not get into this show after two episodes, but after episode 3? I got so engrossed and binged the other five episodes lol. My favorite part (no pun intended) is how they showed Pisaeng's acceptance of his sexuality. I prefer BL dramas that don't take place in "magical everybody is gay and no one cares land."

I think they use auto translate when it first comes out and then actually sub it a little later so if you try in a couple days they might be better on iQiyi
