i know what you mean and agree. It is not really whether it is a romance or not in my mind (as the show is not a romance as a whole anyway - it's so much more - even the novel isn't for the most part) but about the fact that there can be no doubt that they love each other... the show masterfully stays on the fence about this real and unquestionable love turning into something more "physical" I guess(?). at this stage of real love, the "physical" part just seems to be a detail in some ways... I don't know if that made sense :P but the bottom line is i understand, appreciate and agree with your view above. i just wish people approached it as they would with a m/f lead which is not yet the case in our society as of yet. but we are going in the right direction i think! if it was a m/f lead there would be a lot less questions...
