Plan said he would do bl only with mean(same as mean). He gave some lame reason like he did not want to kiss anyone other than mean or something. To be honest, I think plan simply does not want to get typecasted into gay roles since he's (ironically) a walking stereotype of Thai gay men.

True. I really wish she had not bought back the rights for lbc2. She totally destroyed tincan. Every scene with tincan in s1 was so iconic and she somehow manged to botch up the script so badly that even one of the most popular ships of all time couldn't save it. This series would have been so much better if they had continued without her. She practically murdered her own story with all those unnecessary changes and that stupid reboot. *sigh*
And I'm not even gonna watch TT2. I have really had it with her. No more Mame for me.

It's disturbing how what you said is like literally the truth. Thailand desperately needs some decent script writers. They need to get rid of Mame. Period!!

I think she was trying to make him more human or emotionally deep or whatever. But sadly, what she ended up doing was making him look like a kicked puppy.

I don't think the chemistry is the problem. In fact I think the TinCan chemistry here is better than in season 1. It's the script and and the mediocre direction that's the problem. The script is terrible and that's why the actors seem like they are trying to breathe life into a dead body.

You are half right. But his father is not gay. He married tul's mom out of love but she was never accepted by his family because she was British. He was forced to divorce her and marry Tin's mother who was from another rich Thai family. His mother also abused tul because he was considered a half breed. This is why he says that freedom is the most important. He thinks the most important thing for tin to have is the freedom to make choices in his own life which he himself never got.

I agree. This script is one of the worst I have ever seen and that's saying something since thai bl's are notoriously famous for their bad scripts. Sad really, considering how iconic tincan could have been if only the production team had put in some actual effort into it. Even if they had simply followed the novel, this show would have been exponentially better.

I think everybody is of the same opinion as you are but I just feel bad for plan. The poor guy was badly sick during shooting. Of course he wouldn't wanna kiss anyone. He probably felt guiltily towards mean who had to do it too. Imagine kissing someone with dengue. It must have been super awkward for them.

I just found out plan had dengue fever through out most of the shoot. That's probably why they are not kissing properly.

Well, maybe saint just wants to stay away. you know, since it gave him bad memories. Can't blame the guy, if I was in his shoes, I wouldn't go back either. And Saint probably doesn't want to hurt his ship with zee by appearing in LBC with Perth again. Perthsaint shippers really treated zee and Saint like shit when they found out about why r u. He probably just wants to avoid all the toxicity.

Bruh, no. The reason Pete isn't in this season is because of issues between his and Perth's management team. There's no way saint is gonna come back for a season 3. And Perth has already stated that lbc2 will be his last bl. We will probably get an implied offscreen make up scene between them in the last episode and then that will be it.

Probably because the storyline of the side couples are frustrating as hell and seem to have no way to resolve well within the time span left. And people also seem to be frustrated with the almost kisses and non existent romantic scenes from a drama that's supposed to be filled with those. I don't know why they have decided to take the brightwin route with lbc2, but it definitely degrades tincan's charm, especially since they have so much chemistry going on. It would have been fine if they had a strong emotional story line playing out, but since that's not the case, the lack of intimacy just makes it even more blatantly obvious that the production team wasn't trying nearly enough with this drama.

I am with you though, I think it still manages to be decent enough to watch since the acting at least is on point. Apart from the mess with the side characters, I don't have much complaints.
