So.....Ha Nuel never had a crush on Kyung Min but just admiration then why keep his picture when he has repeatedly back stabbed her, spread rumours about her.......I am also curious about how Jeong Woo and Kyung Min know wach each other. Their department is different, their year of graduation looks different so i wonder how they know each other so well ...... Atleast Bin Dae Young and Jeong Woo are from the same field......so that is still a mystery..... Also, I feel Kyung Min's role is even bigger than just being a loser who just stole Ha Nuel's dissertation...... As soon as Jeong Woo's case was concluded, his wedding was set with some pharmaceutical company CEO's daughter.....I don't think this piece of information is redundant.....I think, the reason he was trying to set up Jeong Woo and dealing with the Macau casino boss is all linked with him getting married to the CEO's daughter........ Or else, there isn't anything left to show in the next 6 episodes.

IKR....it's like they want to talk about mental health and normalize the point that talking about mental health is no big deal and people with depression need professional help....well!!!! Kudos for that but on the other hand they are showing that drinking is way too common and ok..... It's like they are nullifying the good message with this excessive drinking

Oh!!! I have been to South Korea twice... once on business and second on leisure so I know how it is there...... Though the society is mostly homogeneous but still I felt younger generation were welcoming so I liked it. BTW, This is where I first tried Soju...... About the media stirring things, yeah!!! I agree.... Especially the entertainment media...they just use this news to cover-up a bigger scandal.....

You know what amazes me...... Koreans are among the top literates in the world.... They are super educated....but those people loose their shit is an idol/ actor is dating....we have seen this over and again....they go as far as boycotting that actor or attack the person he is dating.... They file petition to cancel the show if they think the drama is problematic ( snow drop, Joseon exorcist).....but ironically they are fine or enjoy the dramas where excessive drinking is involved. Infidelity dramas get highest ratings ever..... Very strange country

There are so many strong drinks out there in the world....Rum, Gin, whiskey, Brandy ( according to me) but Soju is on another level itself.... That's what I meant.... There is a city called Chiapas in Mexico where coca cola is cheaper than water and the residents of this town just drink this like water but that doesn't mean coke is good for your health.... same way, just because drinking alcohol is super common in Korea ( just a marketing thing to push people into more drinking) doesn't mean it's good for the people...god save their liver

Not one episode has gone where the leads were not drunk........I know people are voicing their concerns over this issue but i guess for koreans its no big deal seeing its rating week over week. Koreans are pretty good at boycotting a drama or creating an issue online ...lol.......

Not trying to start any debate over here as we all are entitled to have our own views but you might have seen in the comment section how like 80% of the people are saying that they are able to relate to Han Nuel ....( I really hope they are not in any sort of depression) so I don't want them to think it's ok if to drink because you are quoting your daughter 's profession saying it is fine in doing so.... because I read it like that... Anyway drama is doing a bad job in spreading the awareness and it's on Netflix and reaching out to a large number of audience worldwide

I was curious and couldn't stop replying back because mental illness is a very serious thing because unlike other diseases, this is not visible to anyone apart from the person who is going through....I don't think, it is needed on such a serious level to defend this drama to go to such a length to say that " medical professionals are among the highest level of alcohol intakers and have depression"... Are you saying that common people can also drink alcohol while on anti depressants because doctors are doing so? Are you ready to take responsibility for that?? Because anything can trigger people with depression and can push them to self harm....

Hate to admit it, though they are like 16373929 loop holes but I am enjoying the drama. Generally, I would have dropped such a brainless drama but I don't know, there is something out there which is keeping me going. But 16 episodes??? Let's see if I still able to hang in there.... Maybe I am not watching anything else so I have plenty of time for this indirect drinking during the weekend, lol..... But, yeah!!!! I feel , the writers have struck gold with the topic of 'mental health '..... Though they started with a good intention but now they are elsewhere...also, you cannot argue about it here on MDL because it may trigger other commenters saying "how can you be so insensitive about such a topic" ....lol....so I have let go..... Now, the writers are connecting every damn shit to depression..... Like I said , you cannot even argue about it because people like above will just attack you......

By now you might have figured that mental health is the main topic of the show...so rest everything is written through the writers ass....I mean, later throughout the PHS's case, the prosecution and police are a joke..... Ofcourse they have to be, inorder to push our leads into more mental disorder...lol..... Throughout this, the drinking fest continues...my God!!!! The leads drinks so much that I had hangover after the weekend..... I mean, doctors didn't the know the basic shit of no alcohol while on anti depressants..... They will show that PSH has read all the medical articles out there, dissertation, medical generals but she didn't know this basics.....

All women go through mood swings that time of the month. You are a man so you won't know..... So, during this time, we scream for no reason, cry and even laugh....this is mood swings.....some might mistake it for depression. I hope no one in this comment section"actually" have depression. I have lost a friend like 12 years ago. I know how she was. When she hung herself, we asked this question, why???? She had decent grades, had a boy friend, came from a well off family so none of could figure out why she committed suicide. She used to come to college like all of us, laugh with us, eat with us....so none of us could actually tell she was going through depression. After police investigation, her parents gave a copy of her dairy to all of her friends, just in the hopes of any of us have these symptoms or felt like what she felt then seek professional help. When I was going through the dairy date wise, she had written her daily entry......" I had gone to a friend's birthday party , looked like everyone had fun but I don't know why I was feeling"empty ".... I was laughing, but my laughter was not reaching my heart , I don't know why???" These were her words...... What I am trying to say is..... Mood swings is not considered as depression...... Depression won't go away with love, with work, with dramas, with anything... They feel hallow. So don't connect anything with depression, it's a very serious disease..... don't mislead people in this comment section.....
That is why, few people were screaming about drinking alcohol when ha Nuel on anti depressent...this is actually serious, anything can trigger self harm. I appreciate, the writer talking about such a taboo topic of depression but now they have gone somewhere from the actual topic.....

If she is unable to drink coffee, then people are like....we can relate to that as she is in depression....lol..... And writers are banking on it......they are defending the breakup because she is in depression. If that is the case then breakup happens in every k drama..... I guess, every FL/ ML in every drama is in depression..... again, not making any fun of any disease over here but connecting everything to it, doesn't make sense. Tomorrow, that asshole senior Kyun min comes and says, I stole the dissertation because I was too depressed to write one, can we accept? Nope, because it is not coming from one of the leads and then suddenly our logical senses will kick in...lol......

I really hope none of us in this comment section have depression or anxiety. Like other physical diseases, symptoms of mental disease won't show. People with depression start feeling hallow, empty in everything they do. Even they don't know why they are feeling like that. Just by watching a drama , their depression won't go away. They will be going to work just like most of us are. They will be doing everything like most of us are but that emptiness won't go away so ultimately they decide to end their lives of proper treatment is not given. Again, depression won't go away if you start dating someone or start watching dramas with depression in their storyline. I really hope , whatever you are feeling is not depression because it's a very serious mental disease and won't pick fights......

We all know that one thing which is excellent in this drama apart from the leads acting is the communication between them. They were super vocal about their feelings, how they are struggling, how they encouraged each other to embrace the fact that they both are mentally sick and they need treatment and healing......... till here, no complaints. But, in ep 8, Ha Nuel hiding about Kyung Min goes contrary to whatever has happened so far. I mean, she has 1st hand suffered from betrayal. She exactly knows how this person is. She probably might have liked him and he might have exploited this one sided love of hers into writing dissertation and claiming as its his. This senior guy Kyung Min is also close to Jeong Woo, and she is dating Jeong Woo now, so she has all the more reason to warn Jeong Woo about this guy. She should tell Jeong Woo what the senior is capable of and what he has done to her so be careful.......What's the point of throwing beer at his face but not revealing why she did that when she had a golden opportunity to reveal what he did infront of others....I don't know whether she is smart or dumb at this point....I know this will happen eventually but 180 degree change in her character was little hard to digest. I know she is suffering from depression but depression won't change one's character right. In one scene she was expressing her emotions towards jeong woo and in the very next moment, she is hiding stuff......gap in the writing i guess......The writer is just showing anything in the name of depression now.....Making the leads drink alcohol like drunkards to flipping their characters instantly all in the name of depression......
