I am just seeing these characters as is and not sympathizing because they are deaf or normal... IDK, but my take from others is different for today's episode. I thought it was very selfish of Nana to say those mean words to Sou. She exactly knew where or how to hurt him, like " Tsumugi is talking to him because she pity him or Tsumugi and Minato brokeup because of him". I understand that love can be sometimes selfish but it felt as if she was trying to claim Sou as her own as she rescued him from that stage where he needed someone the most. I also didn't like how she told Tsumugi that Sou gave away the gift she gifted him. I mean, sign language is nobodies property. It's just another means to communicate with people. If people from 2 different languages come together and they don't know each other's language they usually resort of sign language ( may not be the correct sign language) to talk, this doesn't mean they are deaf . So I refuse to believe that sign language is only for deaf/ dumb people.
Even if Nana and Sou starts to date, they would end up like Minato and tsumagi. That insecurity will always be there. Nana knows that Tsumagi has heard Sou's voice and she could never do that. There is nobodies fault here but insecurities won't go away. It's good that they don't date. I also think in this drama nobody is going to get together with no one. They will all just help each other heal and move on.
Again, my complaint continues...this episode was also about someone around Sou. He was just a tool for others to express in this episode as well......From ep 1, he is been topic of the conversation of so many people and their feelings for him. I really want a raw episode where it solely focuses on him. I still don't know what he does for a living. What does he do in his free time. He still doesn't have friends apart from nana so how does he spend his weekend? What food does he like? Etc...There is so less we know about a main character. Sou/ Ren's voice is actually sexy, ngl :)
They are basically husband and wife without the formalities.
For me its like, they are not changing each other but rather accepting each other and their pasts.
Li Xun is a handsome man but usually comes across as an arrogant, know all person. So not many people can stand him. Ren Di and now Zhu Yun knows that there is so much more to that arrogance. If he is doing something then it should be for a reason. He never flaunted his intelligence but people got attracted to it which is not his fault.
Zhu Yun is a very protected, loved precious daughter from a upper class society so her vision was narrow. But after knowing Li Xun and his past, she kinda just fell even more hard for him. She loved him for the way he is now. She never intended to change him nor sugar coated him to present him for her friends and family.
They both are valunterly willing to change for each other which the other didn't ask for. So this for me is more than a husband and wife relationship.

To be honest , the only drama of hers I liked was healer and rest were mediocre. Even WWWSK also had that cliche storyline, childhood connection, trauma , bedroom scene etc..... But park Seo joon stole the show..... So I don't think she ever gave any memorable performances

I don't know how others think my comment is but this is what I think....she is mediocre I agree, to compensate she is agreeing to do more steamy scenes. Her career is at a level where she can say she won't do it but with every drama the make out scenes are becoming very steamy. Obviously that would become repetitive too so she has gone under the knife . Or else I don't see why she would get a plastic surgery now when she looked all fine. I guess the competition from the younger actors are getting to her
I am still struggling to decide which was horrible....Love in Contract or Forecasting love and weather. Back to back pathetic dramas by Park Min Young , if she doesn't pick a decent script next time then i doubt she will have that next time. The efforts she has put in her looks , i hope she does the same thing in picking her next drama.....
I cried all throughout eps 1-4, but ep 5 was so tedious, everything started to feel ridiculous and I was laughing…
IKR....(I cried like crazy when Tsumagi and Sou met near the train station and he got so emotional and trying to tell her that he cannot hear anything and she was not able to understand....That was crazy)... It really didn't require 1 whole episode for that. One moment she was crying saying she loved him very much and next moment she has moved on. I am not judging her but is moving on this easy? It took me no less than 6 months and my BF was a jerk. Here minato is a good person but she just moved on after crying out loud for 1 night. Like you mentioned, even i was confused and was not able to understand her at all , i have mentioned this in below comments a well. They didn't look at couple at all in the 1st place , even while holding hands.
Secondly, why was Sou apologizing to so many people. Its not like he wanted this deadness. I know he shouldn't have hidden this from his gf then but he is not obligated to tell anyone apart from his family. Also they just graduated from highschool then so they were very young. Will someone go through so much to learn sign language for an ex bf? She was so numb when she 1st saw him getting out of the train? It cannot just be friend feeling. I know she said she had moved on and was happy with Minato but it didn't look like that. Minato was very calm during their breakup and he saw something b/n Tsumugi and Sou. Either he overthought or she is still in denial .....
I think because of this Xu Li Na misunderstandings are going to come up and these SFL's don't understand No....Leads might bicker also. Li Xun has the habit of telling the opposite of whatever he is thinking to Zhu Yun and she will be hurt. Later she is going to realise he didn't mean it at all, then decides to confess 1st by wearing the princess dress. Before she says something, Li Xun will kiss her.
Wow.......Every episode is like a poem. Nothing forced, everything looks natural. The development both the leads had is incredible. This drama sure is breaking all the basic drama templates like --- Both the leads meet, then they fall in love then they break up due to some misunderstandings meanwhile the second leads make their moves then the leads again they patch up.......Every single drama irrespective of the language same template. But this drama is different. The very 1st episode showed the present situation between the leads and now the writer is taking his time to establish why that happened. I am so glad, the writer is not rushing. Someone mentioned down below that how recent dramas just to fill in number episodes and screen time they are just adding meaningless scenes from random second leads or whoever.....The one i felt was 'A romance of the little forest", it was horrible. In one of episodes the ML was there for just 4 mins......That was outrageous.
Here the leads are getting their own sweet time to understand each other and fall for each other. The flow is so smooth. Now i fully trust the writer with the next development and transition to the 2nd part.
I don't know but it is bothering me......Tsumagi loved minato like her brother, but she kept saying that she loved…
I thought so too. She was like more than my boyfriend, you were like my brother. I had 2 younger brothers. It blew my mind. Then why was she insisting on not breaking up when she saw him as her brother? I don't know whether Minato over thought or tsumagi doesn't want to accept that she still likes sou .... because till the end of ep 5 she kept insisting that she loved Minato. Weird
