Sorry about the rant....lol... Till last week I was reasoning with all the decisions and actions CSS took and I was with her thinking she will change, but now we are back to square one with even more smarter CSS ....after today, it looks as that she is doing stuff because she knows she cannot be harmed by the king, queen or anyone.

We are in ep 32 now, so obviously we all are invested in her story more than we want. she is commiting the same mistake again but with even bigger consequence then obviously myself and the people who have commented will loose their shit, lol.

All she can do is guilt trip the person who is advising her. Her one consistent line, I am not good enough for you. My own parents belittle me so sorry for disappointing you...slow claps....like I said she is way too smart, now it comes across as wicked. If you remember from the very 1st ep where she was ill and was called back because her parents came back from the war or military service. Even though she was ill, all she did was to show how bad her aunt and grandma treated her and wanted to expose them. I understand, as a child you want to tell your parents that how bad others treated her in their absence but her behavior has not changed even now. In today's episode she did the same thing. When she saw the king, queen, the consort , all she wanted was to expose the 3rd princess. Now she really comes across as selfish. Now I no longer want to understand her. We are in the 2nd phase and she is still the same. Even after that, she didn't apologize to LBY on her own, he brought that conversation and then she said sorry. She was so happy about solving the crown prince 's problem that she didn't even consider LBY or what she did at the memorial. All she tells LBY is how he doesn't tell her anything, but I haven't seen her share as well. So I don't know on what basis she always accuses LBY.

This is how I saw that scene, at this point she doesn't fear anyone
Not the king, queen nor the consort. She knew she won't be punished as the 3rd princess wore something luxurious underneath her white robe so attention would be on her. So she knew atleast the consort yue will not spare the princess because she had scene it earlier how she belted all her kids.

At this point it is not about giving or following the advise. She has now painted a target on the empress and the crown prince's back. She can sulk all she wants that she was just making the empress happy. This issue is more than like LBY said. More people will target them and them being soft won't even retaliate.

LBY gave her and us the every reason as to why he is marrying her, i do not want to repeat, please watch part 1 again if you have forgotten about it. She is smart but she needs directions so the empresses took her. Even CSS is happy with the empresses, that is why she is standing up for the empresses. LBY has told her several times not to , not because the empresses is bad but by doing that she is painting a target on the empresses. That is what he explained in today's episode. What are you saying. Just by knowing 3rd princess did it, he cannot go directly and punish her. He has to think of ways to get to her. Just by asking few maids in the palace , he would have got the info on who bullied her. When he is working on the plan, he told her to stay away. He even told her, let him make enemies for her, because he is afraid of her safety. He did say it for 3 times. Everytime, she shifted blame on him by saying it is all happening because of him. I totally agree with you. Even though i do not have any kids but i have felt at many situations that my mom was right. Even though my mom is not as educated as i am but life teaches people. So take the lessons when it is free rather than paying a hefty price later, lol

That's what even i am saying. She is smart that reads the room. She has even tested the emperor. Before the memorial, she had seen Consort Yue belting all her kids so she knew even if she did anything to anyone she will be spared. That is what i am saying, she is too smart for her own good. When it comes to her, people will be like she is immature, but her actions speaks otherwise. She is way too smart.
If a royal doesn't throw tantrums then who will. I am supporting those brats, but that is how a member from royal family would behave. If Wang Ling can behave certain way then obviously 3rd or 5th princesses can behave like goddesses. But world is unfair, you have bow down to the royalty.

If she did then she would have gone to her mom straight to have some one on one like she advised the crown prince to do.

That is what i have stated as well....you are comparing yourself who is from a modern era (a rebellious teenager) to a person who is from 2000 year old society where girls were considered as adults to marry them off. Even Wang Ling is a teenager, the we shouldn't blame her as well. Its just their age then like you said.

If a royal says CSS is a rabbit then she is a rabbit, noboday can go against the royal words. That era was like that, so CSS behaving like that infornt of the elders, in the memorial was not so understandable. If you notice, CSS studies the behavior of the people around her. She even tested the emperor. When she saw that Consort Yue just doesn't care about her children when it comes to justice then she went ahead and did what she did. I am so tired of this line now. She is stubborn, she is uneducated bla bla.....we have come long past those reasons. Its high time she learns some manners. She is lucky that she has LBY.

Wow.......so many things going on in my head right now, so i wasn't able to concentrate at my work..lol

Its all about Cheng ShaoSheng. We are all comparing CSS with the 21st century 15-16 year old rebel teenager but we have forgotten at that age, which is probably 500-600 (probably even old) years ago where they thought 15-16 years is the perfect marriageable age for woman/girls so they cannot be forgiven saying they are still kids.
1. CSS advising crown prince as to why the empress is sad or how he is a good crown prince looked as if some 40 year old woman advising a child. If she understands a parent so well, or understands a child's stance then why is she so rebellious infront of her own parents...this was really contradictory for me....its like a thief advising another thief as to how stealing is bad but i will continue stealing but you shouldn't so because its's an punishable offense.

2. CSS getting back at the 3rd princess right when the ancestral ceremony was happening. This shows how little she cares about LBY and how selfish she is. All she cares about is how to get back at those who have wronged her. I know we all should stand up for ourselves but again like many have pointed out in the comments section that the lady she is up against is the 3rd princess. Its not some lady in the market where i picked up fight. Deep down she knows that she is untouchable because of LBY. The emperor, the empress and consort Yue favors him so she has seen with her eyes that no one can harm her in their presence so she went ahead and did what she did. Many people have lost their lives because they went against the royal family. Many people wouldn't even dare to go against the ministers let alone the royal family but she just went straight ahead with that.
If someone is telling you not to go through that route because of their own experience then we should take rather than experimenting and then getting hurt. There is no harm in listening to people because they have seen more in the world. Even Weng lady who is the empresses cousin has also told that how wicked the empress's daughter in law is but CSS looks like already fallen for her 'i am the poor' card. At this point i want her to get punished so that she understands the severity of the issue.

3. CSS just trusts people whoever are good to her face (again people might say that is because she has not received any favor in her life, lol)...if going by this logic then she should trust LBY because he has helped her over and again in every situation possible. Her family is not well off to get any favors so obviously he did or doing because he likes her. It doesn't take a genius to understand this. So we cannot say CSS doesn't trust LBY yet.

4. Today we clearly got to know the difference between the crown prince and the 3rd prince. Now i am all in for the 3rd prince and in his camp to support him to be the next emperor. CP is totally incapable to running a country. He is going to harm many innocent inroder to protect his incompetent extended family. Such people should be kept away from power. I can totally imagine how the elder from the 1st chamber of Luo family would easily manipulate the crown prince as he is his teacher. What a blunder to grand him to run 3 armies. 5th princess is more capable than the CP

5. It is very important to marry a right guy, but it is equally important to not to marry a wrong one like A'Yao. He would have praised and encouraged her in every wicked thing CSS had done. He was so so wrong. CSS is a very smart girl , now she has turning to wicked i feel. She can manipulate everyone around her except for LBY. Whenever she gets to know that its her mistake, she strategically changes the point of conversation to Ling BuYi like how everything is happening is because of him. I mean she is really smart at a very young age which is the scary part. She is good at self blaming which makes the opposite person feel guilty even though this person is saying for the benefit of her. Initially i thought she has low confidence but at this time, she is just smart enough to turn any argument to her favor. She never accepts her mistake, but just shifts the blame. Till date she was enjoying the empress's company because she finally got a mother figure but when Ling BuYi told her that because of her actions she has put the empress and the crown prince in danger so now she thinks everything related to the royal family is bad.....

At this point we can no longer say, she never received love in the past. She was suppressed by her aunt and grandma so she has turned out this way. If going by this logic then the 3rd princess was raised by her uncle so we should also understand her arrogance rather than hate her. We should also understand Wang Ling because her mother is crazy. We should also understand Yuen Shen's narcissism because his parents doesn't have a cordial relationship. What i am trying to say is everyone has some reason for them to behave that way...so we no longer can use "oh CSS has not received love in the past so she is behaving so selfishly""oh, she has never been corrected in childhood, so she is so reckless" . We have come long past those reasons.



LBY has told her several times that she shouldn't involve herself in the palace politics but CSS does things which people have told her not to do. What if the 3rd princess goes ahead and frames CSS's father or uncle or brothers , how is she going to handle, she is super short sighted, she just thinks at that moment and not in the future. Also, she thinks she is very smart though people might say she was looked down by her mom but deep down she knows she is good.

I know she will have character development but again if that happens doesn't it means she has changed which is again contradicting to what she thinks she is and who she is....

I think being a minister in the royal court was much more powerful than being a king or the crown prince in the olden days......
