I'd love to see making of/behind the scenes videos for this drama xD Considering how many scenes weren't cut with the actors being unable to contain their laughter, the behind the scenes must be a lot of fun xD
After rewatching it I realized that Nao isn't as stupid as she seemed to be when I was watching it the first time.
In the beginning she actually seems cool, being one of the few girls who don't fancy Uehara just because he's one of the top 3.
Then when she figures out that she likes him she still doesn't do anything particularly stupid (especially if you compare it with similar dramas like itazura na kiss, which I love, but Kotoko oftens acts so extremely stupid it hurt watching...).
Only when Uehara and Nao get together, which is after around two thirds of the episodes I think, she starts to act a bit more immature. But most of the time I can still somehow see where she is coming from.
The only really stupid thing she did was to believe Uehara proposed to her. Like why and how? But I kinda blame Marina for that one too. Why would she tell her friend, whom she knows to ber very naive (!), that her boyfriend proposed to her, when all he said was that he wants to live alone? But for Nao to believe it and then act like it's a fact was definitely the stupidest thing she did.
I definitely shipped Nao and Uehara, but I love Daichi so much I wish they'd make a drama about him finding love at his university xD He could be not interested in the beginning, but the girl he meets makes him completely forget about Nao. And then that girl meets Nao and has to deal with the fact that he was in love with her for eight years. Well basically sounds like Uehara's story, but whatever xD
Cute, lightweight but - oh, that lead actor needs to get some more expressions. I'm hoping it was merely the way…
It's because of the way his character was written. In Koe Koi he plays the main girl's brother (not much screen time though) and I checked out a few episodes of Kamen Rider Wizard. The actor definitely has some more expressions :)
My dearest chiaki-san...it is too late for you to like misaki now. don't even think about it buddy.
I thought the same thing xD Not just because I want Misaki to be with Kanata, but also because (even after hating her for most of the episodes) I'd feel sorry for Kaede now xD
Ahhh that was such a bitch move of Mia to say she's engaged to Miyazawa! I understand that she is trying to cover up the affair, but how can she do this knowing that he actually proposed to her and seems to love her? How can she do this knowing that this is gonna hurt him -.-
Seriously, why would anyone set a picture of their crush as their phone's background when they are going to live with them? I mean, I could understand a young teenage girls not thinking this through, but she's like 27 O_O No wonder Kanata found her creepy^^
I really liked Nao, but she became so disturbingly obsessive. Totally unhealthy and comes off as a bit unhinged…
In the beginning i thought Nao wasn't as naive and obsessive as other girls in these kind of dramas often are, but she just became worse each episode. and the last one especially, thinking he proposed to her? what was she thinking?
Well, Marina wasn't helping either. She often started the craziness xD
The only reason I found these subs was because I was refreshing the page (for like the 10th time that day) hoping to finally find episode 17 of good morning call subbed xD I was disappointed, but well, at least i found hapimari subs to make up for it xD
