I don't like those anime like drama's at all... Take Ouran High School for example. It was like an anime :'( didn't like it!!!! I think it's really creepy when they act like an anime character :p.
If you want a drama to not have a resemblance to anime at all, watch buzzer beat :).

Bokura Ga Ita and My Rainy Days are a bit more drama-like. Not mello though. But they are a bit harder to deal with. I loved them anyway :p.

I loved Rurouni Kenshin because of the plot the fights. (Ranked:5, Popularity: 2!!)

In order of must watch first: Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango,Buzzer Beat, Paradise kiss, Bokura Ga Ita, My Rainy Days and Rurouni Kenshin.

Well I like them all very much but I think this is the order you'll like the most :).

Hana Kimi and Hana Yori Dango are most of the time the ones that make you fall in love with J-Drama. They are not mello at all :) and really great. Their both about romance, comedy and school life.

I really liked Buzzer Beat and Paradise Kiss(movie) because they were not childish at all. You won't find the main character fainting in the arms of her loved one (I hate it when that happens xp). Both romance stories. Paradise Kiss is also about fashion.

Yes, I get whet you mean.. My best friend here is rooting for me to watch 1 litre of tears but I refuse because I hear it's like an emotional roller coaster x). I'll watch it when I'm fully prepared lol. Now I am in the examsperiod so I don't watch any melodrama's now. If I read about incurable diseases or sad endings, I don't watch them most of the time.

I kind of like Japanese drama more than Korean because I love the culture and the language. But it's hard to find good Japanese drama. I think the Koreans are better at making drama :p. And the Japanese at movies, anime and manga.

I see that my best friend Mina has recommended you Hana Kimi :p haha. That's a really good one.

I loved the Japanese version 10 times more!!! It was one of the first drama I've ever watched. I just love the main actors Horikita Maki, Ikuta Toma and Oguri Shun. Their actingskills are superb. Plus I've always had something for Ikuta Toma x). I don't know why, but in Hana Kimi I really wanted him to end up with the main girl. Apart from that I also love the main roles: Yamamoto Yusuke, Mizobata Junpei and Mizushima Hiro. I just love them :D. And indeed HOTSTUFF***

I think I'll rewatch the drama soon :D.

Hmn, I didn't like King2Heart that much because I didn't like Kim Hang Ah's acting/her character. It annoyed me trough out the whole drama. I love her in Secret Garden. Plus I didn't like the plot that much. A competition between North and South? Didn't like that part

I really don't like it when they don't understand me. A few weeks ago was the first time I showed a video of Infinite to my best friend. She said they looked like girls or one direction :'(... Waee?
