Just finished Sword Rose. Not a boring moment, just compulsive watching. Of course there were some flaws but the message was clear and strong. Really hoping Dilraba signs these kind of roles because she's very credible and mesmerising in them.
A very interesting and riveting drama on the whole which made me think about the issue of trafficking even when I was about my normal daily tasks. Of course there were some little niggles like the back story to Wu Bin, he got revealed rather suddenly and easily though I did suspect him earlier on. Also, like everyone else, I wanted to see the 'actual' moment of reunion between Madam Zheng, Yan and Ran Ran but it won't overshadow the important message of this drama which is the destruction of lives when a loved one is abducted. Dilraba looked to be in her element in this drama, so pleased it did so well.
Ep: 18. Chang Rui just calls the mother of the deceased child and gives her the news over the phone? Surely there's some agency protocol whereby they would visit and impart the news in person? I was a bit shocked by this.
Episode 7. Are rural people really that ignorant in China? This couple who bought the baby which is returned to the real parents, now want their money back because they will lose the inheritance? Unbelievable. Edit: It seems even the educated and wealthy in cities will turn a blind eye to the law and take a trafficked child illegally. (Ep. 24)
On Episode 4 at the moment, it's been quite harrowing watching so far. I just feel sickened by these despicable and conscienceless people who are involved in human trafficking and then I'm shocked and disgusted by those lying about knowing the whereabouts of a missing child to exploit the grieving parents for money. The parents are so beside themselves with grief, they will believe everything and anything they are told, logic is beyond them unfortunately but there again the scammers know exactly which tactics to use.
I'm waiting to start watching it when its well underway - about 10 or more episodes I think. Going to be difficult…

And what about Reba's fabulous figure which the whole industry envies, compare that too, and those legs etc! Even Lu Si is a fan of DD from years ago and you are embarrassing yourself.
