Im probably, going to get alot of hate for this. Im not 100% fan of the 3rd prince. He is willing to kill Qing Kui sister, to cover his tracks. Yes, he " loves" her but constantly lies to her. His mother nor her, care for him to get the crown prince position. Thats all his ambitions.
Can we have more dramas like this? Where there no crazy obsessed people vying for the leads. Causing unnecessary misunderstanding. Most side characters gets someone. Its so much more refreshing.
I love this drama. They had so many epic fighting scenes, that I was expecting alot more from the last battle. Lord Chi got off really easy, with how many people he harmed. I wished they would have locked him up til his death! Other than that, i am satisfied with the ending. I really hope they make a prequal or sequel! Both would be wonderful.
Blood of Youth, reminds me of Sword Snow Stride and Joy of life. The way the main character is. The people he meets along the way and bonded with them. The fact that both those dramas, have so many experts, i couldnt even keep up who is who. Lol
Wuxin, for being enlarge in the poster, as one of the main characters, felt misleading. He has very little screen time. It felt more like Lei Wuji, and Xiao Se, journey, and Wuxin randomly pops in when they are in need, as a supporting character. š¤¦š»āāļø Tiang Lian, for having such an important role and bond with the leads. They made his death seem so insignificant. Other than minor complaints, I am really enjoying this drama!
The main characters, have some annoying moments. Almost, like they're overacting the comedy parts at times. It is not the best drama so far, but it really is not that horrible, as well. Hoping it gets better. Second male lead few scenes, are great!
So... Im not sure if I like Yanyan character. I felt she ended up loving the emperor, which is fine, then got to old age and Han Deran ended being a rebound. I didnt feel their love was this strong weather it all, like they tried to make it out to be. Han DeRan on the other hand, loved Yanyan consistently throughout the drama, and never changed. I genuinely felt bad for his character. He was pretty much betrayed and used. Then Yanyan and the emperor basically guilted him into staying with them, when he wanted to leave and go live a quiet life.
Xunfeng is such an underrated character in the drama! He is such siblings goal. He has alot of heart. He loves his family and people, and wants to protect them at all cost!
