Whoa, my feeling exactly! I’ve been longing for similar feel towards the couple like I felt in ashes of loves…
oh my goodness! I never supported Runyu. But then again my best friend says I have 'first lead syndrome'. I don't think I have ever shipped the main FL with the second ML 😅

Yass! Xu Feng and Jin Mi was a couple I became immediately invested in. I must say though, I never thought a drama would come to surpass how I felt about them... yet now Ancient Love Poetry has made me more emotionally invested in Shang Gu and Bai Jue...
ashes of love was fine... as long as it isn't a Miss the Dragon situation.
My thoughts are the same. This is what happened to me for Love and Redemption. In spite of knowing it was going to be a happy ending, all the heartache leading to that happy ending was a bit much for me. I had to stop watching :/

Indeed! I watched three lifetimes and was fooled each time. I am a bit worried about ancient love poetry as well. My expectations right now are very high! I read in the comments that the novel has a sad ending so... I am just wondering if I am setting myself up for a heartbreak... lol
I watched till Episode 10 and its been awhile since I felt this invested in a couple so early on. I am already in tears, so I think I am in for another ashes of love. This is going to be a long two months. On a different note, I absolutely love the two leads. I do not like Wu Huan (there is something off about her since the moment she said "she will change her own fate").
Exactly! these are my exact thoughts about this drama.Visuals are so good. It's like a feast to the eyes. I feel…
I completely agree. The length I feel is just right. Especially given the light hearted (so far) nature of the drama, longer episodes with him appearing and disappearing might make me not like it as much as I do now.
I finished watching upto ep 12. Sometimes I do wish the dragon would show more emotion, however, I still find the drama intriguing. It does not have the depth perhaps compared to other fantasy dramas. But I find the naive nature of both the ML and the FL cute (can be frustrating too). So in other words, I am conflicted about this drama. Let's see how the plot unfolds. One this is for sure, visually it is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!
I got a WeTv subscription just to watch this. Whilst the feelings may have developed too early and all the clichés; nevertheless, I ABSOLUTELY love it. I am upto ep 5, I love the FL and maybe a controversial opinion but I like Dylan Wang's stoic nature (it's cute). Can't wait to see how this story unfolds. I don't think my heart can survive another Love and Redemption this year... we shall see! Enjoy everyone!
I watched the first episode and I absolutely loved it! Because I am an impatient person I started reading the novel as well. And I know there are some people who compare this to the untamed. For me personally, I think they are two amazing dramas that should be appreciated without comparison. This drama invoked way different feelings for me, in comparison to the untamed. I cannot wait to see how the novel unfolds and I cannot wait to watch the next episodes!
I find it funny that they call this a 'bromance'. That one look in ep 1 was enough to give me butterflies. I came for Simon Gong but I am definitely staying for the drama! Hope everyone else enjoys!
I made the opposite decision. knowing this was coming out, I purposely waited to start Soul Land. I'm glad I did.…
I should have waited as well! I have withdrawal effects now.... That novel is so long, I felt like I have aged along with the Shrek Devils. I will give the drama a try some time in the future, maybe when S2 comes out.
You have to see this as a separate entity on its own. I read the novel too. enjoyed both and seeing Soul land…
I should have seen it as different entity. I think I got too attached to the novel. Maybe sometime down the line, I might give it a try again. The novel is still too fresh in my mind. I loved the anime definitely! I think that's mainly because it followed the novel closely
I began to read the novel after the drama was released. After knowing the story, I was completely disappointed in the storyline in the drama. I am glad I finished the novel, otherwise I don't have the patience to wait for season 2. I love Xiao Zhan but I had to sadly drop this drama....
