I haven't read the novel but from what I heard, he is way more powerful in the novel. The power that Pete has in the show is Charlie's. And Willy's power of Time Manipulation? That's Charlie's as well. And, he isn't that weak. In fact, he is very strong as well.The author is pissed. And I don't blame her. Imagine seeing a character you wrote who is strong and powerful, being reduced to this weak character who can't do anything. Honestly, I feel like the network doesn't like Pooh or something
I understand wanting to maybe do a few different things from the novel. Maybe they have an idea and they put it in. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. But at least they keep the most important stuff in. This show did not do that! Even the author was disappointed with it too! If you want to change some things fine, but don't change Charlie. I don't think so. It doesn't seem like he will be the hero. Maybe from absorbing too many powers, Charlie loses his memory? I don't know. Because I get the feeling that after the kidnapping scene, Willy might be powerless. Because you see him on the ground and Charlie might absorb his power. Because after the hug, Charlie might absorb it and Willy didn't look happy. I don't know. I was going to watch episode 8, but I might wait next week too see what happens. Okay cool. Also to respond to the comment about the breaking off thing, I agree. I think right now Jun needs a break from Sorn. Sometimes the best thing you can do is just take a break and sort out your feelings. But I'm glad Jun is defending himself now. And I hope he make Sorn work for it

Ooh good. I want to see Sorn beg on his knees or start crying. I do understand where Sorn is coming from, truly, but he shouldn't lead Jun on. And I hope Jun makes him work for it. Even if it's just one episode, I want to see Jun at least have sex with or just kiss someone else. But I kinda know that might not happen
