I've also not watched it, however I think it usually adds it when alot of people start watching it at one even if it's not that meny people but mostly because of the timing, idk if that makes sense

It's mostly, season 1's ending and how the main character words things that makes it sound as if he's obsessed, I don't really know how to explain it exactly.

I recommend "my beautiful man/Utsukushii Kare (however I must mention season 1&2 aren't the best and can be questionable, but it's the movie that comes after the show that is similar and enjoyable it's called
