Okay this was really hard to read. Anyways i don't know how the guardian situation would work. If you think about it though it would probably be really hard to tell people that you had cancer, I would worry they would be sad or worry more than me, in my perspective I understand why she didn't tell anyone, you saw how her mother reacted I doubt she would want people to feel that way.
