It is a spectacular drama. All the twists, every line of events, God, it was fantastic.

What a heart-warming movie. But I got really mad at the end. Why is the ending scene sooooo short? :(

God, this drama was really good. Very touching and tragic. After the end of the drama, I found myself looking at the screen blankly and feeling my deepest sympathy for Ikuo and Tatchan. (And respect for the scriptwriter.)

It has been a while since a drama got me hooked this much on the first episode.

It is very strange. Watching Chun Song Yi talk too much makes me feel like I am watching a show with the script in my hands.

Even her clumsy, timid character in the Doubles can't hide her hotness. Wowwww...

Nice movie. Some scenes are really fantastic. One funny thing: everyone forgot Brother Sui at the end of the movie. :)))))))

Honestly, I saw her in “Big” before but didn’t care to look up who she was. I learned here she is a singer, again I didn’t feel any urge to look up who she is. So I am absolutely no fan of her. No previous positive opinion or negative. For her performance in this drama, I totally understand you. In fact, we had quite heated discussion on her predecessor’s performance, Yoon Seo Hwa. If you read those posts, you can understand my feelings. I always appreciate good performance, good acting. No matter who they are. As for Suzy, some go crazy about her, some go to the opposite. Me, I feel just sympathy. She tries to the extent of her skills. Apparently they need to be improved. And as long as the director/writer says so, this is a boy, not a girl. :))))) We will look the other way..:))))) Whistling..;) And when Kang Chi finally notices, we will be shocked…:)))) OMG, he was actually she.:)))

I feel like Suzy has taken on a challenge. Portraying the opposite sex must be difficult and I think she is pushing herself very hard not make any mistakes. I sometimes get an impression as if she might be thinking if she smiles more, or shows more emotions, her "boy" disguise will blow off, may be her face will betray her. I think she needs more experience and she has a good chance to improve herself right now. Lets see what is gonna happen.

Yeap, there're still many episodes and there is this heavy destiny emphasis. This protector and understanding person sounds like a very precious friend to me. Can it turn into love, anything is possible. Though still I expect somehow his heart should cool off before loving another person.

Chung Jo seems rather smart and perceptive. I might even say a good strategist. I wouldn't be surprised if she becomes a very strong, powerful figure who can manipulate people and stir the events behind the scenes. She has the potential.

It is a though question and since you reminded, yes there is a question mark there. Is it maybe because their goal is to strengthen the defense of the country against a possible enemy attack and simultaneously to prevent Jo Gwan Woong's intricate and still hidden scheme without drawing unnecessary attention? Just an initial thought.

You are asking them to increase their budget, possibly change costumes, change make-up, add more special effects, find some people who can do these without doing something funny, etc. :) I am with you...

He just snapped in the end.

The story seems a little different than the other Ip Man series. Not much though.

Ok. My guess…Kang Chi is stubborn and unyielding. Without a trauma, he is not likely to change his mind and he will continue loving Chung Jo. If Chung Jo changes radically and turn into a person cold-hearted, solely driven by revenge and who sees Gumiho as an abomination, his heart might change. But in the fast-paced story line, developing another love seems unlikely to me. Yeo Ul might always be a good friend. Always be “there”. (I wanted to write this for a below post, but it appeared here.)

If her role goes on in the Gu Family Book as it is now, she will definitely become a very fine, very versatile actress. Her character shows different emotions like happiness, love, care, hope, grief, anger, fear, etc. And she does a pretty good job in expressing them, making people feel them. I believe this drama will bring the most benefit to her among all the actors and actresses in that drama. Hope to watch her more...
