In the novel, her phoenix pearl (its her demon core) activated when FS tries to steal it, and merges with her…
Thanks guys for the discuss and spoilers. I have been deadly curious. Can I ask if the novel was a happy ending with SL & XZ getting together? I am hoping for this, as when XZ was born, the 'dead' gods said XZ was different and that the 'natural law did not give him a mission' or something like that.
He is alive. With Do Jin I knew for sure. Here, I 'm pretty sure Jin Ho Gae is not dead. How I saw it:1. Do Ha…
Just to add that I am really hoping the autopsy was all a ploy, and he really is alive somewhere. I was nearly convinced he was dead at the autopsy scene, but the preceding fact that we did not see Do Ha’s view of the rooftop after the explosion makes me want to believe Hogae is plotting with Do Ha.
Also, the device that Dex implanted was 2 in 1, and Hogae only allowed Seol to remove one of it (the one that was giving him electric shock), so that Dex will still be able to reach him and not realise he had met with Seol & Do Ha.
Does anyone know if TTJ and LSS will still meet YQY at some point? I remember reading somewhere earlier that they did, and I saw a scene with YQY without his mask and with white hair. I just hope it is a happy reunion. They all love each other. Can they just be happy for a while longer?
Uhm, I thought she might have done something to the medicine. I also think they slept together lol. The bit about…
I just hate seeing YBC being deceptive again! Be it as a human, demon or in a dream. Why can't she be truthful? I thought TTJ was the most pitiful character. At least he knew he was weird from the outset, and know understands why. Poor XL/GYJW. What did he ever do wrong, but be trusting and innocent?!
Am I the only one not happy with how the writers glossed over LSS origin story. We had two episodes of TTJ grieving…
My thoughts too. It got even more confusing that her adoptive father did send her into the world for sufferings. Also he and CJM’s master insinuated about knowing TTJ’s identity. Does that not mean they are aware of everything YXW & TTJ experienced as mortals? They could have elaborated on this really. Because if they really know, then it’s weird that they do not know that LSS’s bio father was part of the demon God’s crew 10,000 years ago. Or is there something I missed?
I can understand ppl being mad at LSS but at the same time I understand her. She's just scared, confused, and…
You are right. I cannot wait for TTJ to be Demon God. It just seems as though he will no longer be himself (TTJ) if things go as ‘predestined’. I just hope the writers & director have a way to make him remain ‘our’ TTJ (capricious & lovestruck) in spite of him being the demon God.
I have a question ,am I missing something , is LSS’s biological father is leaning towards on evil side ? He…
I think so, as well. I remember he only turned on the devil God during the dream arc when CHuang’s life was in danger. He had those moments when he sounded like he wanted to be the Devil himself. I am assuming he still has similar motives. I will have to rewatch the old episodes to remember his exact dialogue.
Finally someone spoke about him! NBY is truly so loyal and mature and there you have TTJ who leaves a country…
Yeah, I was hoping he didn’t die either. I mean it looks he wants to (in the absence of TTJ), but it sounded like those 2 bad ‘guys’ would have kept him for their use. Although he is only mortal, I wish he could re-unite with his Lord in the immortal arc.
This week’s episodes have been very emotional but I loved every single second of it. I wish I could use another word, but loved it sums it up well. Heart wrenching and a roller coaster, but the portrayal by the actors was splendid.
TTJ and YQY both lost everything. Literally, everything to them as individuals. TTJ - the love of his life and the singular person who changed, loved & wanted him; and YQY - his country (the innocent civilians), his family & his love. Their grieves were both palpable, but their responses were worlds apart. Definitely influenced by their upbringings and life principles. And TTJ’s guilt - he could have loved her more, trust her, not torture her; but he missed his chances. His statements after the poisoning’s confession (by she who must not be named ‘here’) were poignant. He changed because of her, and without her it all meant nothing. Oh yes, and his capriciousness persisted. There he was looking for her (for 500 years) and all he wanted was to find her or die trying. But it turned out that even in YXW’s glaring absence, her immortal essence was healing him! Who wouldn’t get mad at that?
Although we only saw snippets of YXW after she died, she was marvellous as well. Her dead silence in the mourning hall scenes spoke volumes. Thankfully, we know she will be back alive, and talking again, as LSS.
Can we give NBY an award for being the best subordinate ever? When he said, he wanted his Lord to leave the sad palace behind, he affirmed yet again that he was a keeper. Who goes looking for someone every day when he knows the gate only opens every 500 years?
And for she who must not be named, I’d rather not say anything about her, but too quick a dying process and poor XL for loving her.
Finally, does anyone know what Scholar Pang is up to? I have not read the novel and I cannot figure it out.
Any insight from the novel readers. Please spoil me. How did TTJ convince himself to marry YXW after this? Did they find out that it was YBC who ‘poisoned’ the porridge?
