Thanks, thought I was the only one... Like I know there are men in gay relationships who are/act more feminine but I just feel like a lot of the time in BL series that's exaggerated. It's so much more relatable seeing two men navigating their sexuality who like you say are on equal footing where one in the relationship doesn't HAVE to look like they're taking on the 'feminine' role in the relationship.
The top doesn't have to be tall, strong and confident the bottem doesn't have to be short, weak and feminine. They should simply stop creating their personalities depending on what roles they take in bed, I honestly don't care. I just want to see two regular dudes falling in love. Hope this doesn't sound weird but I'm just triggered at this point. It is 2024 I'm expecting more mature, complex BL series similar to those you've mentioned in your list, I've just been let down too many times.
