Pretty solid drama. Loved the Korean version, so I was a little hesitate to start this one, also because I'm not a huge fan of Thai dramas, but this was pretty good. Dare I say, it's even better than the original. It went into more detail about the affair and the aftermath.
While Pak is more at fault for the affair, Lita was so damn annoying and clingy. It was clear that Pak did not love her the way she loved him. And the balls she had to confront Rin and tell her to let Pak go.
Loved the way Rin got her revenge. I'm so happy they hinted at Saint and Rin because in the Korean I was 100% rooting for them.
Overall, this was a great drama. I enjoyed every second of it.
i am honestly surprised how much i loved this drama. i normally do not watch this type of drama, but the plot did seem interesting, so i gave it a shot and ended up falling in love with it. even tho the story did turn out a little different than what i thought, it was still good. the acting was great and i loved the chemistry between the mains. i was little disappointed we didn't get to see more romantic scenes with the leads tho, but since covid hit i understand. great drama. would watch again.
I like this drama, but it was all over the place, a lot of things did not make any sense. The kids, the mom, the bar owner, and Dong Chan's dad are what kept me from dropping his drama.
I hate this plot with a passion, but I can't help but check out all the live action adaptations, lol. I originally saw the anime and then saw the Korean live action, and dear Lord, I could not with that drama. And what is so funny, is that the Korean Ver. is my first ever Asian drama and I have not finished it and do not plan on it, and I started watching dramas in 2011. Also, I don’t like Lee Minho, lmao. I have seen all the adaptations, but have not finished any of them, well I saw the first season for the Japanese and Taiwanese one. I began to watch the latest one, but only saw the first episode because I was so done with it already. As much as I dislike the plot, I love the Japanese and Taiwanese adaptations. Great article, by the way :)
I watched this yesterday with my mom and brother, and it was adorable. The two mains are so dumb, but so cute. I started to watch the anime, but didn't finish it, but from what I've seen, I wasn't disappointed.
This drama was okay. I was very excited to watch it because I love Seulgi and the plot sounded good, but this drama turned out worse than I thought it was going to be. I could not stand Park Se Gun. I wasn't a fan of Mo Nan Hee either. Both were shallow and only liked pretty things; Se Gun was more of an ass than Nan Hee when he spoke about it, but they both were pretty much the same. I really liked the first two episodes (1-4), but it just went down hill after that. I found myself skimming the rest of the drama, and I normally do not do that, but I just wanted to finish it and see how it ended. Such a shame that Seulgi's first lead role was this drama, could have been better.
I love this drama. I have been getting into family dramas lately because the other 16-20 episode dramas do not catch my attention whatsoever, and this drama is just the best. Honestly, when I saw that is was going to have 120 episodes it did not scare me because as soon as I saw episode 1, I fell in love and I do not want it to end!! This drama has me hooked and I cannot wait for the next episode!!
me just started watching and 1st ep in, I want to punch Geum Byul in the face, like how can you be such a horrendous…
She gets worse, in my opinion. And I am sure something bad is going to happen to her and we are supposed to "understand" her and, well, like her. But I have a feeling I am going to continue to hate her no matter what happens to her.
This is a super old article, but I read it, and I highly disagree with the Korean Version of Fated to Love You. Mostly because of Lee Gun. I found him to be super annoying and just awful, in the sense that the character was just bad. Ji Cun Xi was a complete ass, but I liked him more than Lee Gun for some reason. Lee Gun is the only reason why I cannot finish the Korean Version. Also, the Taiwanese Version was one of my first ever Taiwanese dramas, so it holds a special place in my heart, lol. Another thing, I preferred Meteor Garden overall the other adaptions. It's old, but I still like it a lot and actually thought it was the best out of all the adaptions. I absolutely hate the Korean Version, it was my first every drama, but I hate it so much. But this was a great article.
I loved this drama! It took me a day in a half to finish it and it was wonderful. It was cute. It was sad. It was overall a good drama. I give it a 9.5/10 because I wish there was a couple things that were explained a little more, but I still love this drama.
I love Goblin, but I see your points. The reason I like it so much is because it got me back into dramas. I have been in a slump and that drama saved me, lol. I haven't finished it because I'm scared to see what is going to happen, but I do plan to finish it. It's Okay That's Love never caught my attention, my older sister loves that drama, but it looks so boring. Oh My Venus, I've seen random episodes because my mom and older sisters' were watching it and I would walk into the room and see some of it; it didn't seem that bad, but I'm never going to watch it (I know the ending and everything). Pinocchio, I love Park Sin Hye and I’ve seen most of her dramas, but I’ve never seen the drama and I’m not sure if I am. One of my older sisters loved, but I don’t know. Shut Up: Flower Boy Band, never seen it and never will. My older sister liked it, but meh, nah, doesn’t seem interesting. Bride of the Century, the first 9 episodes were amazing (I think that’s how much I’ve seen, I don’t know), but after that is went downhill; but I do plan to finish it but I don’t know when.
I’ve dropped tons of dramas, but one of the that people love and it top rated (I think) is Boys Over Flowers. OMG, I HATE that drama. I have so many problems with that drama, and several others, but this is the only one I have a major problem with. It’s funny because I like the other adaptions, but I really don’t like the Korean one. Oh, it was my first ever drama too, and I have been watching dramas since 2011, lol. So yeah, that’s all.
