Seri's family won't stop. She has no choice but to leave their house. In an earlier episode her mother told Seri if would just marry the person she wanted her to she not interfere her life further. That was a complete lie.

The Chairman of all people should understand how she feels. It's kind of disappointing if the writers are choosing this route for him.
