The grandparents & DR’s mother no longer feel thankful for the money, but entitled to it… like they earned…
Yes Nepotism. It's a real problem when everyone and anyone in the company knows that your bio son only got this job and position because he is your bio-son. No other qualifications needed. This a problem that can't just be explained away.
Unlike your step-son earning an additional degree, during his spare time using his own money. Which may look bad on the surface when no one knows the specifics of it since you chose not to bother or spend any effort whatsoever to explain.
I don't care what the contract Gang Ju signed says. The company got what it paid for. Gang Ju got the MBA he was sent to get and the company paid for. The company suffered no loss whatsoever. I can't believe any court in any country except a corrupt one would side with a company suing someone that cannot show they suffered a loss. At worst they had a PR issue on their hands which they could have fixed with a clarifying statement.
At this point, I fully expect the writers to have Gang Ju take the fall for everything: murdering the actual thief and stealing the money in the first place, being thrown in the street by the FL's family, being imprisoned for life, and everyone else living happily ever after. What a heart warming family story.
Wow. The CEO can swap out sons like the rest of us change service providers and never look back. Come clean out your room. That's my bio son's now. Come clean out your office. That's my Bio son's now. Get to stepping because I hardly knew you and certainly didn't love you. Just wow.
Yes we are going to have to wait a while.1. She has to get over her feelings and rejection by the 2nd ML2. He…
Yeah, the FL's family has roots there so they can't just be off but the writers have shown that they are not in the greatest financial shape. In the last episode, the Chairwoman indicated she is willing to use her money to get what she wants. She might use her money to cause problems for them at the restaurant and the brother's clinic.
Dad promised to protect Audrey so, I hope he can use his cop skills and connections to do so and not be shown as useless.
Also, I wish the FL was more savvy and smart and not so naive. She is going to need to use her wits more than her boxing skills eventually.
Also, I am so over Angry Kang shouting at her in meetings to know her place as if she is a housemaid instead of an employee. I know about the whole hierarchy thing but damn she could pull to the side to do that. That idiot department manager lets Angry Kang get away with that crap.
47 episodes down, can we finally have GH falling for DS?? Or do we have to wait for the halfway point? She hasn't…
Yes we are going to have to wait a while.
1. She has to get over her feelings and rejection by the 2nd ML 2. He has to beat around the bush for a while until he finally confesses to her. 3. She has to reject him. 4. They both have to be put in situations where they have no choice but to get closer. 5. Probably the grandmother will find out he likes her and she will try to discourage her from even thinking about getting with her grandson. 6. He will have to make the usual weak attempts to fight his grandmother by calling her grandmother out loud while doing little else. Typical of K-drama ML who can't stand up to their elders. So in the end the FL will have to be the one to actually fight for their relationship.
I hope I am wrong about the last part but that's typically how these things go. Once you seen one it's the same script with different actors.
what a piece of trash the 2ML is ... he said to her to brake up without telling her the truth .... just sorry…
She was bound to find out quickly anyway. Why he didn't tell her the truth is because he is a coward on top of being a dog. He didn't want to be honest and have the guts to tell her he was dating and proposed to the woman sitting right behind her a minute before he got with her. Now it's all back on and his intention was always to marry her. Although, I have my doubts that's going to actually workout.
I can't believe the words "I was sincere when I was with you" came out of his mouth. He was constantly thinking about the 2nd FL while he was with her. The FL was the only one actually sincere in their relationship from the start.
Her mom was right she got played and used in one of the worst ways possible. I hope she understand she has no reason to hold on to anything but disgust for the 2nd ML.
This drama needs some professional camera work for the kissing scenes. Shoot from behind one of the characters' heads because shooting from a side angle doesn't work.
I'm not sure what the writers were thinking when they decided on the character as the doctor, but if an unlikable insensitive jerk was what they were aiming for they hit the bullseye.
So typical of Kdrama chaebols……The chairwoman blames Audrey for her son’s death because he was looking for…
I agree with everything you wrote. K-drama characters typically blame their own failings and mistakes on those of lower status than them. Of course, Audrey is intimidated because she has nobody by her side. She thinks her son hates her because he does not know what happened.
The FL's dad who seems to know what happened with her husband's death is not exactly a forthcoming fountain of information. So Audrey is left to feel guilty about something that is not her fault and he could help her understand if he opened his mouth instead of watching her suffer. What a coward.
JN always wanting MG to give in and do things her way but she never keeps her word. So thinking only about JN…
To me, GH's character is hard to root for because she doesn't seem to pick up on any clues either in her relationships or work. I can understand her not having much experience dating but there have been physical clues she should have picked up on that something is just not right with her relationship and she seems to ignore those. She also has no clue the ML likes her even though he has give obvious hints.
She also, is the only one at the company in her department working hard. Everyone else sits around talking. taking breaks and no one offers to help her when they see her struggling with piles of clothes. She sees nothing wrong with that and seems to think hard work is going to get her somewhere.
Oh well, they are going to drag out Gong Hui finding out she is being played with for at least 5 more episodes. I doubt if Angry Kang will tell her. She should though.
So based on next weeks trailer may finally be getting to a point wher DaRim finally acknowledges she may have…
Apparently the Chairman had no real feelings for his wife and her son at all. He did absolutely nothing to fight for them. Just let them go like they really meant nothing to him.
