So far seen him acting only in comedic roles, so his acting in Flower of Evil was something I didn't even expect. His character was much needed in dramaland. And please, never cut your hair
The ending was so beautiful. There was not even single character I hated. Despite the somewhat sad theme, it was very comical drama. Characters were amazing. One of my favorites from this year. Definitely.
I'm just like you! When we begin watching asian dramas everything is so different, the culture, society, expectations...…
Hahah yeah, and now after I returned back to Finland after living in Seoul for 5 months, I pay more detail to backgrounds and I am like "omg I was there" "omg that building was my landmark when trying to find way back to my home"
Me in 2008 when I started watching dramas and a corpse or something appeared on screen: omg ewwwwww *turns away* Me now in 2020, 600+ dramas later, at similar scene: *continues eating and rewatches the scene as got interrupted by the sound of herself eating*
Probably because he studied really hard? Korean is one of the easiest languages to learn (at least I think so) yet still so many foreigners who want to make living in Korea, don't even bother to learn it. What I am really surprised though, is the accent that sounds like a fluent Korean speaker. Usually Americans who are good in Korean, have a really strong accent but this guy doesn't have it.
And wow the format is so similar too. I've missed Abnormal Summit so damn much so I'm glad this at least is similar
Of course it is different in some ways. But I meant that the setting in studio and the main format is similar, having foreigners living in Korea telling their views and experiences on certain topics and a Korean guest representative on every episode.
This program just made me miss Abnormal Summit even more but at the same time it gave me a relief that maybe Abnormal Summit will get a new season someday.
I'm watching it without subtitles. It's not uploaded on any sites yet so I'm just googling "끼리끼리 *episode number here*화 다시보기" and hoping I find working video from random korean sites.
