Really funny drama. As a fan of Lee Hong Ki as well as random comedy, I found this really nice. But if you're looking for a drama where every plot movement has a reason, this isn't for you.
He's so different in Misaeng compared to Doctor Stranger. When he first appeared on Misaeng I was expecting the North Korean guy to pop out of him every time LOL ! That's just how good he acted in both dramas. Really impressed !
I rarely watch business dramas because I usually find them boring and/or repetitive and/or too much melo in them.
This one was really good however. It took few episodes to start and I loved how it wasn't anything flashy or too glamorous. It was really realistic drama. I felt like I could see myself in the interns. I really liked Jang Geu Rae's character development. Thumbs up for Im Siwan :) I also liked all the other new employees :)
If I had to conclude it to one sentence it would be "A kdrama that is like a jdrama".
You will understand why, after you finish this.
I loved the original Japanese version, but tbh it got repetitive and a bit boring at times. Not to mention Nao got on my nerves. I know these 2 are totally different dramas but as they both are Liar Game I think I like the Korean version better.
At first I was like "what? They're making a TV show inside a TV show? How is that supposed to be Liar Game?". Now after finishing this, I came to the result that this was more like inspired by the idea of Liar Game, but the drama itself was absolutely stunning.
I was going to rate full 10 for this, but I'll give 9,5 because of the fact that this is a remake but it's not really a remake. Sorry if my post is messy, this is difficult to gather my thoughts at 2AM....
Absolutely loved the cast. When they announced it, I was doubting and didn't think they would do well. And I loved the idea that they replaced Fukunaga with Jamie (much better character imo) as well as the character development. The ending scene gave me creeps. A big thumbs up for Shin Sung Rok. He's the only one who could pull off this role.
I have only watched Shitsuren Chocolatier, so voting that, and Matsumoto Jun to every possible category :D
