Rewatch the episodes, there's no evidence of an intimate relationship between ML & 2FLWe see the opposite. ML…
I clearly said he should break it off clean with 2FL. She's still his fiance since he hasn't clarified anything with his parents either and when they have a family meet up he puts up with it. He's just giving mixed signals here
It's been a while since I've seen a drama this bad. First they create some suspense and expect the audience to take guesses about whether the spells work or not, they try to justify the ML's abnormal behavior with these uncertainties they've created. Then they keep you hanging and give you no explanation while promoting cheating by both ML and SFL. At this point, there's no need for any explanation imo, the ML is just out of the line. How can he pursue a girl he's in love with but not break it off clean with his fiance. And yeah, the SML is the main villain. You just don't end up in the same building with the FL because of a coincidence in a drama lol.
I personally don't think it's a story flaw or plot hole. The point is that he *was* wrong to do that. Humans aren't…
I don't expect the protagonist to be a saint, they can have flaws from which they can learn and strive to be a better person. But if you look closely, the show took on a sensitive issue and didn't do it justice in my opinion. They tried to show that Doha is the main victim of this whole situation which is not entirely true after how he handled the situation. That girl may have been a terrible person but his actions were too impulsive, it's a bit crude for my taste and I'm not rooting for someone like him.
I understand your reasoning but I don't agree. We need to remember this wasn't a one-time thing. She was constantly…
Well it's true that a situation like this in a drama can be explained in many ways that depends on the viewers. I'm glad you're enjoying the show maybe. Don't know if you'll believe me when I say this but actually I try not to nitpick when it comes to kdramas, specially about plot holes. But if there are things I find questionable about the protagonists then it's a different story. Anyhow, I hope I'll find some kdramas which I'll like. In the end, we're from the same community so cheers!
I understand your reasoning but I don't agree. We need to remember this wasn't a one-time thing. She was constantly…
I know this was not a one time thing and she was trying to cage him by her constant threats. That day on the beach it was a bit different, she hurt herself twice if I'm not wrong and it seemed like she slit her wrists which means the arteries are exposed and it's not a minor injury, it's huge. The bleeding can't stop if you don't go to a doctor. Even if it was a minor injury, you only escalate the situation by telling that injured person to die if they want and then leave them. Need I remind you the next day on the bus when her brother was looking for her sister and asked him, he couldn't care less. After seeing all that blood and saying those spiteful words he just thought what could go wrong. Things don't add up man.
She was a delusional stalker and if he'd shown her any shred of attention in that moment, she would have continued…
I understand what you're saying. If I'm blackmailed by my gfriend like she did, I'd be very disgusted too. I'm not saying breaking up was the wrong choice, it was the right one. But ML handled the situation in a very questionable way, it seemed pretty inhuman to me. Feeling disgusted by someone and severing a relationship to the point where you don't care about someone can be understandable, but if you openly spit out your hatred like telling someone to die when they're already injured and those words lead to someone's death then it's not okay.
I haven’t gotten this far in yet but a script can touch on but not always cover the true aspects of mental health…
I agree with you that not every suicidal person is always pitiful. One of my friends had to deal with this kind of person and it was literally nightmare for him, still he was very cautious about it. He informed her roommates and family members about her situation before escalating it cause the last thing you want is to be blamed for someone's death. If you watch the episode I'm mentioning here maybe then you can understand why I'm saying this.
It was really odd. What did he think, someone as psychologically troubled as her was going to go to the hospital…
I'm only nitpicking because it's the ML we're talking about here. He could've resolved the situation differently. He could've consoled her by saying that he'll not break-up with her and then should've tried to persuade her to go to the hospital. Like you said she's psychologically troubled, but that doesn't mean she should die. Doha initiated the situation and also escalated it by telling her to die. It's not sth I'd expect from a ML.
