I'm from South and it's not that rare for someone to get sick from rain. But I guess it improves with age y'know. Kids-teenagers are more prone to it. By sick, I don't mean like fever kind of sick. A common cold may be. I personally think it depends more on the body constitution and the frequency to which you are exposed to. These days it's more of a cliche troupe.

I'm an Asian too but weirdly enough here we were made to sit mixed by default. Like you ARE made to sit mixed according to the teachers' seating plan. That too continued till my high school was over. Only in senior secondary, we were allowed to sit with who ever we want.

Since last year most of the Chinese platforms release the schedule weekly in case of regular length dramas.
