the ratings should have been higher, this is one of the best coming of age, slice of life, webtoon adaptation…
I do like Seol as well, and i'm also not all about the romance. But they left too many issues unresolved, too many questions unanswered. They moved the focus from a plot to another without solving any of them and without satisfying anyone.
Thy had a problem while filming with the writer of the webtoon, and you can totally tell by the way the tone changed.
For me this was a good drama, but a missed opportunity for a GREAT drama :(
He's the chain-restaurant-bitch's son, for sure! He keeps changing neighborhoods to find his mother who took the money and disappeared when he was very little; And JiYoon is two years younger.
The one I hate the most is: <<You can't fall in love, unless he/she is your childhood friend. childhood friends (or first loves) will always win. ALWAYS!
And if you are not chidhood friends, we will create a totally unnecessary scene to prove that your paths have crossed in the past, you surely forgot about that, but it's very importat that you played at the same slide that day 25 years ago.>>
Yes, ok, the road was blocked.... But why the taxi driver didn't call an ambulance and insisted on taking HyunSoo at the hospital by himself without any medical assistance?
I'm just going to stay here, in the corner, facing the wall, with hands on my ears, just tap my shoulder if the drama is watchable, and leave me die there if it's not....
I watched HanaYori Dango for the first time back in 2006, after reading the manga.... And it wad baaaaaaaaaaad.... soooo bad..... but i couldn't stop watching.
Same goes today for Itazura na Kiss, the story is f*cked up, but sooo addictive ç_ç
This drama reminded me of when I was reading Wuthering Heights and I was thinking "You all need a psychiatrist, a good one. You are all so f*cked up, big time. Please just stop whatever you're doing and re-evaluate your lives. I can't keep reading"
But I kept reading anyway, and I finished the drama...so, I think I'm the psyco here XD
I like 30minutes episodes a lot! the scripts are less dispersive and wishy washy, if you only have 30m you cut the useless parts.
also, subs are faster and It's easier to rewatch and to look for your favourite scenes :)
