Maybe his past flings or he's pretending to like them to solve the cases. He's supposed to have his real partner (Shaman) but maybe they scrapped it. The production and Tencent only care to create 'BL' elements with 2ML. I cringed watching some of the BTS. It's such a boring trope because I've seen it enough in male-centric dramas. Bromance is fine if done moderately.

I'll watch it if he has more screen time but romance dramas have always been from FL's POV. So, FL will usually have more screen time. It's not my favorite genre. So, I've always had trouble finishing it even if he's in it. I dropped both FSMM & RWTW half-way through.

I'm not sure but Youku's drama seems more interesting. A casting call has been announced yesterday. Filming is expected to start in early October. At least GJ will have 2 months gap between filmings unless he has accepted the offer for KITW from Tencent, that means he will film KITW first in August, 24 episodes only, it's a urban drama so it will probably take 2-2.5 months max to finish filming. But he will be filming non-stop since February. There are rumors that he has 4 dramas lined up.

During his previous live stream , he talked about receiving scripts for a period drama. I know he has always wanted to take on a role in a period drama.

He's booked & busy. But I'm not a fan of romance-focused dramas. I hope they make major rewrites to the script

The filming for The Legend of LXF will wrap up soon (but I'm not sure when. Most likely by end of this month). A few days ago it was rumored that Gongjun has 2 dramas lined up. Modern drama from Tencent & costume drama from Youku.

Gongjun was rumored back in March this year. The producer of this drama had booked private screenings for GJ's drama (Family Court). Based on rumors, they have made a few changes. GJ hasn't signed the contract yet. To be quite honest, I'm more interested in another rumored project from Youku

I'm glad they're able to finalize the cast sooner, unlike Gongjun's other drama. It's even more absurd if Gongjun ranked last (because of the strokes in his surname) among all the leads since LXF is the central character.

Yes, HML is one of LXF's best friends but they're not always together. LXF is a wandering hero, he travels solo most of the time. They've finished filming for 9 story arcs/cases so far, HML seems to appear in almost all of them (if not all of them). I rarely see LXF with the 3 of them together. He's mostly with HML.

That one lead is everywhere judging by outdoor scenes so far. He has always been paired up with GJ. It's like they're trying hard to sell bromance with just that 1 co-star. I wanna see GJ with the other leads/cast too, not just with that one lead.

I despise it when the streaming platform is trying hard to promote its 'princes/princesses'. It's so annoying.
