I am getting so tired of the comments about not liking PSH’s character due to her being weak. Please tell me why she’s weak besides the two commonly repeated reasons: she cries too much and she likes YJW too easily. These 2 reasons aren’t good enough to label her as weak. Yes, she does cry often but that’s just a human emotion; it just goes to show that she’s sensitive and has a lot of compassion and empathy. She’s not crying because she falls, hurt herself, and ends up crying because she’s being a big baby about it nor is she crying because she’s playing a damsel in distress and needs to be rescued. Here, she’s crying for others, not for herself. She’s a strong independent woman who is the head of her house and takes care of everyone financially. As for her liking YJW too easily and it’s not realistic/believable. It makes perfect sense to me. I’ve seen a couple that dated for 10 yrs only to get married and divorced within 2 yrs of marriage while another couple gets married after just 3 months of seeing each other and they lived happily ever after. In PSH’s case, her fondness for YJW started and grew after she received the money, not because of the money itself but the fact that he still gave her the whole amount even though she was late in responding to his offer. From that moment on, her first impression of him as being a jerk changed to I-guess-he’s-not-so-bad-after all. And then he fell from the 6th floor and got badly hurt in her own place so she felt guilty and decided to take care of him since he didn’t really have anyone at the time besides his secretary. In the process of caring for him, her feelings grew. Furthermore, to say that she’s weak for liking a character like him (an unemployed alcoholic alleged murderer) is the total opposite of what I was thinking. In my opinion, I think she’s pretty strong for going against what the majority thinks and stands her ground; to put all your trust in someone who everyone else thinks is a bad guy is very courageous.

All I can say is Uncle Gu needs to come back ASAP! He needs more screen time :) please don’t make me wait too long for your reappearance ????????????????
I might need to take a break and then come back to binge watch because I feel my hair is turning grey waiting.................for each ep.

Lol It’s okay if you missed our points on why we enjoy the show. I don’t think any amount of explaining will make you understand it better or enjoy the show more...kind of like how I don’t find watching any sports interesting whether it be football, baseball, tennis, golf, basketball, etc etc...my husband can sit there and explain the rules of the game and why he enjoys watching it but I still wouldn’t like it :)

I hear you and while I kind of understand where you’re coming from, I personally don’t find her character annoying :) also, I’m glad she’s in there to create a little romance to satisfy my romantic heart. Love makes the world go round :) Although I’m sure you’ll say, “But it’s not realistic here!!!!” Lol

Oh and please refrain from using such vulgar language...I understand you’re frustrated but you should just give up the show instead of letting yourself getting all worked up over PSH’s character. Life’s too short, it’s not worth it, watch something that brings you joy instead :)

Similar to what someone already said: this drama is simply not for you. You might find it boring but we LOVE it! We don’t mind that it’s slow because we enjoy the slow developments: character building, romance, every day life situations, different types of relationships, etc etc. And you are right, it is difference of opinions for sure. You can disagree but there’s no need to downgrade it just because you don’t understand. This show is amazing and in order to enjoy it fully, you have to watch EVERY scene (again, someone has already mentioned this). Since you are unwilling to watch every scene and skimmed, it makes perfect sense why you didn’t find it engaging. However, because you missed out doesn’t mean the director is “lazy.” If you did “lots of skimming” and only watched a “few nice parts” then you really have no right to criticize when you’ve only seen a tiny part of a big picture. Furthermore, you are wrong to say that it’s easy to do this drama. The so called “action packed” you mentioned is actually a lot easier to do since it’s been done many many times before. It’s so much easier to pull in the audience with an action scene than a slow one. And yet, even with all of its slow scenes, we still love it; therefore, it shows how good the show really is...Anyway, that’s my two cents.

Lol if you hate it that much then simply stop watching. You sound like you already dislike PSH/PSH’s character from the get go so anytime you mention her it’s always in a negative light...okay, we heard you!

And PS: I don’t feel too bad for QH. He is still so sheltered and naive of how the world works that I hope he will be smarter, wiser and more aware in the future after these experiences in ep 27. Yes, ML is following his lead: “If he gives up, I will give up. If he moves forward, I will move forward.” But she’s at least aware of her station in life and wise in her yrs...she’s only following because she feels guilty if she doesn’t since he’s doing all of these for her.

Ep. 27 for me shows you can’t miss a thing in this drama because every scene is relevant to the story.

That last scene just goes to show that as long as there is someone above you, they can oppress you ???? you can live peacefully one day and then the next day can be the total opposite. I think that’s why Gu Ting Ye has such an advantage here :) yes, he might have a bad reputation; yes, he got kicked out of his Marquis house; yes, he has kids...but these things make it so that he’s not wanted by others so when he gets with ML, no one would care (hopefully) to hurt this marriage. Had he been perfect, his family probably would not want him to be near ML just like QH’s family.
All I can say is, “I CANNOT wait till they get together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

At ep 26 :) and LOVING the story! Some might say the show is slow but I don’t mind :) it is what the title says...about ML. I love how her character is physically weak but she’s got brains :) she’s calculated but still has a good heart. And lastly, nothing is better than a slow romance :) I love it when ppl actually have time to get to know each other and then the romance slowly develops instead of things moving too fast.

On ep 18, so far I’m loving it. The leads still aren’t getting much screen time together but I can’t wait until they do :) there’s so much drama but it’s not too horrible so I like it :) I’m glad ML and her sisters aren’t out to get each other like the ppl in Princess Weiyoung.
