When I watching this drama I notice few things similar to Word of Honor such as.. 1. Opening song. The singer's voice and the melody similar to WOH 2. Few scenes such as horse riding... they focus from the top or above. 3. ML character... weak, sick, few years to live and living in disguise as someone else when he is actually an excellent in fighting
When I noticed these... remind me of WOH and this drama too attracted my interest to watch from episode to another episode.... I kinda like this drama and I'm nearly finished. I might change my earlier rating once I'm finish this drama.
Tbh I’m not a big fan of this 2 MLs but they really suitable for their characters.
Bottomline.... love this drama coz the storyline is good and the flow or the pace of this drama just nice.
I'm a fan of Xu Kai. Love Gulnezer Bextiyar for her beauty. Love to see Xu Kai pairing with gorgeous actress. Tbh... after The Untamed and Word of Honor... no drama facinate me much. These two drama I can watched them episode to episode like nobody business. The interest of wanting to know is too aggressive. Fantastic. With SEL... I lazily finish just because this two ML & FL.... they just too beautiful together.
Basically love this drama. The storyline .... normally happen in real life. I really love the chemistry of 3 main actors and actress. They just superb portraying the character.

Finally the series is here... First episode... well not too bad I guess. Too soon to tell about the story progress and all but I hope it will not disappointed.... to me at least.
As for ep 1, I really like the ML... very talented indeed. Looking forward for his more good performance in this series....
To start with... I like this drama. We can see so many good actors in this drama too. I've watched until ep 9.... Tbh, I kinda like to watch ep 1 to 7. Kinda sweet and cute. And suddenly here comes Frank. ... the brutal Frank. I love all this 7 ep... very interesting. Ep 8 to 9... to me it kinda boring. Some of the scenes .... feel like another version of Clark Kent and Louis Lane. It doesn't work for me even though the actor and actress are well known .... Oh yes, I think MDL rating is too overrated.

But one thing I feel unhappy about this drama is when this scene when Oh Jin Seong's mother left Oh Jin Woo at the park. How can an adult has that kind of mind.
Now that we know Oh Jin Woo is not his biological brother ... I feel that OJS mother is very cruel person. At least if you don't want the boy you always can send him to the orphanage .... others can take care of him.
Tbh I feel bad to Oh Jin Woo's character. And do not be surprised.... in reality there are people like Jin Woo.... thinking of it makes me sad.

Unlike the FL, I don't see anything special about her & the character. I really want to elaborate more but again like you said its not her fault and yes ... what a waste. Tbh I continued and finished this drama coz XZ and other casts.

This is another good drama for me after Miraculous Brothers. Love the plot and the casts. Finished ep 7 .... interesting episode. Can't wait for more episodes....

I love this type of drama or story. I love to watched all XZ's drama. To me all characters given to him ... he can do it very well.... especially in The Untamed. To me that drama is the best!! However, in this drama (The Longest Promises) one thing that I don't like is the FL. Her character kinda annoying. Idk maybe I'm too sensitive.
I kinda like this drama. The story is good plus all casts perfect for the role/characters. One thing that bothered me and make me wonder or curious about is ... What is the main reason Jin Woo's mom decided to abandoned him when he's 5. I'm seriously curious too on why the Mom show more love to the eldest... I wonder why?! What make her behave that way to Jin Woo....
Max is very talented actor. I just wonder why is he given only a few ML in series or lakorn. Producers or series maker.... you won't regret to take Max as a ML in your series or lakorn coz he is good actor .... one of the best. Same goes to his TV Thunder.... why less project for Max?
