I absolutely loved this show, but this series needed to be slow burn in some of the subplots , and same with the ending. They edited it so much they almost ended up taking the heart of it away.
The main couple had an enormous chemistry that we couldn’t see, we were only left with crumbs and our intuition ( and loads of imagination) did the rest. They were so madly in love with each other and they had so much passion, which was part of their story and the development of their relationship and we couldn’t see that either. They didn’t do justice to the storylines and the Characters.
With this im not saying this series wasn’t absolutely epic, because it was and I enjoyed it so much, but imagine how much greater this could have been with all the material they eliminated!
I wonder if the way they edited and cut out the scenes of this show is the reason it has such low ratings! Because there’s no way in hell this drama is worse than Love between Fairy and Devil( which was very bad mostly because the FL was just talking and acting like a 10 year old).

Honestos, i dont believe you didn’t think that anything was missing… I mean I didn’t watch any of the deleted scenes and i felt missing parts everywhere. They were even parts where they just added voice overs explaining things they purposely edited out…🥴ðŸ˜

Hahaha yeah definitely, with the cuts it is hot, im just sad they cut sooooo much! Not only hot scenes but generally, it feels like if they would have left everything they recorded it would have been completely perfect! Sometimes cdramas have waaaay too many episodesand it becomes draggy and boring but i wish this one it would have been longer

Hahaha well the cuts aren’t included, so we basically are left with the imagination of what we think it will happen 🤡 i mean they didn’t left a proper kiss. We don’t see flirting either because they cut it at those moments. You can see them behaving comfortably with each other but you don’t really see why . The edits are actually really terrible! Love the show anyway but not for the romance, this show is actually more restricted than korean dramas😂😂😂😂
This has to be one of the most ( if not the most) satisfying female characters ever written on a cdrama.
She is ALWAYS ahead of the game and soooo clever!!! You know when you are usually watching dramas and you keep rolling your eyes because the script is so obvious it’s impossible the characters keep getting fooled by everyone??? THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE!!!! It’s so fresh and satisfying watching this FL being actually aware of her surroundings and the people around her!!!
Does someone know what the fl is talking about on the 5/6 episode when she says the emperor did a lot of things to get close to her but she teased him and now she is not angry anymore? What am I missing? There are no scenes of him trying anything with her???? Sooo confusing!

When Im watching a romance drama I care about their relationship and for me there’s no relationship possibility if the guy is an eunuch. I am glad this kind of relationship is great for you and Im sure the message is great but it literally puts me off the romance. Thank you so much for your time and the explanation though!
