There will be war and separated but this story is rich with the plot actually especially their childhood and all the stuff, i don't recommend this drama for someone who likes romance actually,

I'll recommend for someone who likes dark theme and watched it for the plot

That's why i like this character way more then any other characters
He is kind despite going through ALOT
And also wanted to become a doctor in a clinic way far from all the noise in the city
,endured loosing his love of his life
, and going to jail and again endure another three years of torture and abuse ,his brother not visiting him and believe him(at that time)
Not becoming a doctor (his dream) again adds way more than expect to a human being to make it out alive
If not believing susu is alive, i don't think he would have lasted this long

If you're waiting for it to get better, I honestly wouldn't recommend continuing. If you've already watched more than 10 episodes and still feel this way, and still disappointed, this drama might just not be for you! 😔☺️

I get why it feels repetitive if you're only looking at his dynamic with Susu, but calling him 'nothing more than a lovesick crybaby' ignores his whole moral compass. In Episode 16, he literally called out his own brother for standing by while innocent women suffered, and he puts his life on the line for social justice and helping people, His love for Susu is central, but his empathy and willingness to fight for what’s right are what make his character so selfless, not 'stuck'.

But Fair enough! We clearly see his character through different lenses, but that's what makes discussing dramas fun. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

Qingyi's love for Susu, no matter the cost, is totally real. And his dedication to social justice and helping the girls is just as strong.

In all that killing and escaping at the club, he was the only guy who didn't care about his reputation or what he could gain, just helping a bunch of women he didn't even know. In his world, which is full of pain and suffering, he always puts himself last.

he was a doctor before, doctor's heart is so big for the people who suffer, he understands them, he tries everything he can so people can suffer less

when he put a gun on towards and tells his big brother who he thinks high of :-
"Why can't you save them? They're right in front of you—how can you just watch them suffer and do nothing?
"The bigger picture?! If we ignore innocent lives just to protect ourselves, then what are we even fighting for? How are we any different from them?"
