Btw I get both the MLs pov, like she was at some point genuinely concerned about both of them when nobody cared about their existence. Like Jun Seo was manipulated as a kid by his mom never to even step out of his room and was kept like some kind of hostage so she can claim the inheritance of her dead husband who wasn't even his actual dad. And it's lil Ah jin who helped him out of the situation.
Same for 2nd ml, when he was going to surrender, she was the one who genuinely understood him and gave some sound advice because of which he is now out of jail. Even his lil bro whom he saved doesn't like him but she being a abuse survivor herself gets him and he's thankful for that.
Ok just caught up with all 6 eps and I don't know whether I missed it or something but didn't that other actress take the file with her? Then why does she need more info on Ah Jin? She could just leak the file to the reporter directly right? 🙄
Reposting my Review: So I watched the k drama just last week for the first time after I saw that this is a remake of that. So I'm just going to compare both and give my opinion.
Revenge plot: K drama did it better. Even another k drama with the same story 'Perfect marriage revenge' did the revenge plot better. Here the whole purpose of been given a second chance is defeated because the Fl is still too soft for her own good and overly trusting and forgiving! Ugh she was murdered because of these very traits the first time and she didn't learn anything new in her 2nd time in the J version unlike the K versions! Only place she shines is the meeting with the parents which is similar to the k version and very satisfying to watch! Otherwise she still seems like a pushover who needs the ML and his sis to come to her rescue everytime... :(
J drama makers need to stop showing evil people getting forgiveness in the end! They always tell that they are evil due to their circumstances and hence deserve forgiveness no matter how many innocent people they have hurt and don't regret! They even showed a son(ML) simply forgiving a lady who killed his mother for property in another drama! Ughh...
They don't understand that by showing such nonsense they are insulting millions of other people who are in a similar bad situation or had even worse childhood than these evil people but still chose to follow the right path and remain as good individuals without hurting others! So no, it's not about the circumstances, but it's all about individual choices one makes to follow the right path or not! So good people deserve praise and bad people punishment not forgiveness!
Acting : Both k and J dramas have stellar performances, especially J villain lady was fab! She totally creeps you out! Lol
Music : I generally don't notice the music in dramas but here it was actually so good that I noticed it.
So basically for me the J version's only plus point is its short length, unlike the endlessly long k version especially towards the end the fiancee story was a drag there, here it's short and crisp. If the j version had the proper revenge plot too, then it would have been 10/10 but now it is only 7.5/10 for me.

Oh, they filmed it in 2024?I thought it was filmed earlier because of the dates shown in the videos was 2023 in many scenes... So I thought it must have been filmed during late 2022- early 2023...
Ok, so I heard about the plot of this drama and was immediately reminded about an article I read recently about an old (1960) Indian Black and white movie with similar story line! Movie name - 'Bombai ka babu' . Actors: Dev Anand and Suchitra Sen. Even though I haven't seen both the movie nor the drama, the things I have read about their plots, I think they are quite similar.

Plot holes aside, I actually didn't mind the characterization of Fl as such, it was just the actress 's facial expressions which were either too much or too little everytime, that threw me off! Lol let's just say it was hard for me to watch her reactions that I actually wanted to stop watching it in ep 2!Then my curiosity for mystery thrillers got better of me and binged it fully! Lol I was just staring at the background when they showed her facial expressions in close up! Her characteristics were similar to BBC Sherlock series's Sherlock, so I was kinda ok with a little childish bratty behaviour since I have seen many copies of that version of Sherlock Holmes. There are even many Japanese versions of both male and female Sherlocks! All behave similarly and here at least they give excuse of trauma regression or something in the beginning, others don't even bother! Lol But the only diff is that those actors both male/female who played such roles were aces in the acting dept! Plus I guess the ML was supposed to be playing the John Watson kinda loyal side kick role here, so I guess that's why his characterization is like that.
Anyway, I actually thought there was going to be a sequel! Ugh I hate when they leave us hanging in the last second! They should have cut that last second puzzle scene then and finished it properly! :x Btw looks like it was filmed 2 - 3 yrs back, maybe there was some production issue or something for the late release, who knows...
Show was a decent enough mystery thriller. It was easy to guess, but they gave enough red herrings to make it…
It was so wierd that the mom did not return to the Amusement park to search for the daughter, that too her lil 7 yr old daughter and was instead so stupidly sitting at her restaurant and waiting for her for 10 yrs! Lol who in what wierd world would do that? Which mom won't go and search for her in the park and ask about her to authorities and wait everyday for her there? Here the daughter was visiting the park everyday and mom was sitting in the restaurant and waiting? Whole thing is so illogical! The mom could have easily found her daughter in the scenario they have shown in this show! They needed a better reason for the whole revenge plan!
They maybe could have shown the lil girl getting kidnapped or something by those thugs and killing her mom and making her believe she was abandoned or something after killing her mom or something else altogether. Either way this being the reason the whole series is based on is silly. Hope S2 makes things better.
Show was a decent enough mystery thriller. It was easy to guess, but they gave enough red herrings to make it interesting. The main minus point for me was the FL's acting! I couldn't look at her face the whole time, her reactions were so cringe OTT most of the times. I like the somewhat wierd oddball characterization of FL something like BBC Sherlock series' Sherlock, but they could have chosen someone better to play it. I just came to know she isn't a newbie! I thought this is her first show that's why she was acting bad! Lol my bad!
And another minus was the major plot hole! Explored in next comment.
The leads finally got together and somehow I didn't feel a thing... :( Guess they stretched it out too much that I didn't feel any chemistry between them in that kiss scene. And that's unfortunate because I have been waiting for this show since its announcement just for the leads (KJE & BIH).
Anyway guess I will drop it now and read about the ending later. Hope to see my fav leads in new dramas soon with better script. Good luck to them! ❤️
Btw apart from all the romantic butterflies this show gives us, I love that it also gives us many thought provoking perspectives about various jobs and the big and small issues related to that. Overall, the episodes truly have a good amount of productive value to it, like they actually make you think about it. Kudos to the writers for writing such well rounded episodes! 👏👏👏

Hmm well we can only guess what's actually going to happen, so I am open for anything. I won't mind if she is angry with him initially because of the shock but I will also be happy if she isn't angry, either way is fine for me. Now we have to wait for another week to find out what's actually going to happen.
I've watched the kiss scene from the preview way too many times to admit and still missed that they are wearing…
Of course being a super tall human shield should have its perks! Hehe 😁 Btw I really can't wait for a whole week to watch it! 😭 Channel ppl are a tease just like our FL!
So happy for him! He should do more romcoms, he is perfect for those roles. Loving him in Love scout and as rightly said in the article, his chemistry with Han Ji Min is 🔥!

Yeah eventually it will make her hate him less but before that I think it will be normal for her to flare up knowing that he was the reason she lost her dad, especially since she is still not over the trauma. I think she is initially going to be a little too sensitive about it and break up with him and then maybe will calm down and understand things and make peace with it.
I think most historical Korean Crown Prince (not the playboy type) lacks on social interaction. They live in the…
No, I don't mind them showing the prince naive, my issue is with the writers stretching it endlessly for 11/16 episodes! Generally in such gender bender dramas, things get resolved by 6-7 episodes, i.e the Prince might fall for the 'guy' but panics and then finally finds out it's a 'she' not a 'he' and resolves his inner turmoil and then goes about wooing her. But here the story is nearing the end and he still hasn't found out, that's my issue.
I dunno the way it is going it looks like everything is going great except the romance part! The ML is still thinking FL is guy and no one including him has any idea about what he is actually thinking...
Whereas 2ML has already confessed and we see FL almost swaying? I dunno what it was they were trying to show by making her remind to herself that she doesn't have time for romance right after his confession?
Lol I now think it's better they leave the whole romance out of the story and show them as friends in the end rather than a hurried romance! Either way, next episode will be interesting. Finally our ML will know for sure she is a girl, yaay! Lol
Anyway other than that too episode is going to be powerful... One more important character is going to die unfortunately... 😭
Today I want to especially commend Han Ji Min, the lady is simply so effortlessly awesome! 👌👏👏 Her expressions are so natural and realistic, it's hard to think it was all just acting! Sometimes showing an effortless happy face requires more hardwork than endless waterworks and I truly think she truly deserves an award for this role! 👍
Btw I'm sure waterworks are going to come in next episodes sadly. I can see a major 💔. She is going to push him away knowing the truth about her dad and him but hopefully he'll win her over again soon. ❤️
