One of the director is also Deng Ke (of TLOSL)! So I have high hopes for this drama.

It depends what you're here to watch for. If its action/heavy plot, this drama isn't going to deliver that to you.

For Love story: Theres like 3 major arcs in the drama. Eps 1-6 is the mortal arc and initial foundation setup for FL/ML. Eps 7-14 is demon realm and getting to know the major characters. Eps 15 onward is really focus on love story development.

Personally I enjoyed it from the beginning to end. I came for actors chemistry, love story, excellent CGI/BGM and consistent character developments, and no heavy politcal plot and side characters. BTW I thought the actors looked fantastic in their makeup and wardrobe.

This isnt TLOSL related, but I went down a Princess Agents rabbit hole these few days. I got triggered all over again with this CP lol. I'm just SO HAPPY LGX/ZLY worked together for The Legend of Shen Li, and gave every PA fan a sort of closure.

I know it seems kind of hopeless at ep 10, since Xing zhi is kind of a clingy child, but you'll find out soon enough why, and his whole backstory. The whole drama is a love story, so if you're in it for that you won't be disappointed.

10 is early, so you'll soon find out they're always kind of "together", at least by eps 15.

If you need officially made known to the world, then ep 32.

I'm all for a republican era drama too, their more mature looks would go sooo well with that period of clothing.

I agree!! I actually rewatched Princess Agents recently while still in my TLOSL hangover, and was thinking how amazing they looked there too. I think they must know, since after PA they were collaborating in other things like commercials, video games promos, etc together and people didn't want her to get marreid to FSF lol. CP power got revived now with Shen Li, so it's definitely an affirmation. I just hope they ride the wave and work together again
