Love love love the Top 5 videos. My favorites are always the Top Korean Drama kiss ones. In my opinion, kisses and chemistry truly make or break a drama. <3
Even though we have totally different tastes as I see from your lists, but on this one I agree with you. Thinking…
Agreed. I don't mind the FL, I'm just not feeling this drama thus far. Overall, the first episode fell flat and for me it just felt off :/ . I was really anticipating this drama, as I love romance and this looked like an interesting story, but thus far it's not very good. But, like you, I will give it a few episode try. Hopefully, it will pick up and start getting interesting!
This drama is not for everybody but I'm really liking it so far. All four women are awesome; confident and strong-willed…
Definitely agree that this show is not for everyone, especially given how mature some of its contents in but I am loving it thus far!! You also make a really good point about the episode count, so many shows end up starting strong and fizzling out when the episode counts are too long especially in more mature, melodramatic dramas.
Thank you for your reply! I personally think the vacation route is too out of character for KTW and GHR. When…
I definitely see how it could have also ended with a sad ending but still have been much better, such as if GHR left KTW after his betrayal and just kept up her pursuit of the news and justice. KTW could have taken his vacation (by himself) realizing that he was no longer the person he believed himself to be, he failed himself and his wife, or turning himself in for the murder. But killing himself to me felt out of character. After all, both GHR and KTW were fighters and were also incredibly smart and not wasteful people. For KTW to let HMW take the fall for the murder then to kill himself seems like a waste. And for GHR to just continue on with her show knowing that KTW is going to commit suicide and not fight for him or for what they once had, seems unrealistic to me.
They could have had it fast forward 2-ish years still and had GHR as a Blue House Press Secretary (and single) and KTW confess to the crime and being in prison, and HMW still being jailed for killing the other guy. It wouldn't have been happy but it would have been more conclusive, and I think viewers would have felt more satisfied.
In my opinion, Misty was incredible but the last episode was a mess! I think a lot of the plot holes could have actually been resolved in this episode had it been written better. For instance, with the characters of Ha Myung Woo and Seo Eun Joo.
~ Ha Myung Woo ~ They could have still had Ha Myung Woo take the wrap for the murder in the same fashion but made it show that the reason he was doing it was because he realized that he was no longer the person he was before prison. All he had initially wanted to do back when he was young, was to protect Go Hye Ran, but realized that in doing so he lost himself along the way. He no longer valued people’s lives and killing, became a means to an end. His initial lack of faith in her that propelled his first murder was his driving force in continuing to want to protect her, because he felt at fault because he did not trust her when he should have (or believed he should have). I think that he still saw her as someone who needed protecting especially because he realized that the person she loved was actually the one who sought to destroy her.
~ Seo Eun Joo ~ And with Seo Eun Joo’s character, I thought they should have somehow linked her to Ha Myung Woo. Made him a cousin or some sort of family member. It would have gave better explanation of her deep set hatred of Go Hye Ran. It would have also explained why Ha Myung Woo cried when she miscarried, and stopped her from stabbing Go Hye Ran in a way that felt as though he was protecting both of them.
~ The Ending ~ I hated the ending. When people say they loved it, I am honestly confused as to how. I think the way it should have ended is that Ha Myung Woo went to prison (because of his realization that I mentioned he should have had). I think that Kang Tae Wook and Go Hye Ran should have taken a vacation together and tried to make a fresh start. I think they had both been through so much and both did things that made them wonder who they had become. It should have fast forwarded then to 2-ish years down the road and she should have become the director of the newsroom. The previous director of the newsroom should have become the vice president, with Han Ji Won as the head anchor, and Kwak Ki Seok as a News Team Leader. Their news channel would have become even more well-known as the news that unveils the truth. And Kang Tae Wook should help alongside her to help stop political corruption. They end up together, still broken in a way, but stronger because of all they have been through.
I have watched up until Ep 5 and can't wait for the next episode. Of course I'm a big fan of Yuki Furukawa-san.…
Yes, its been amazing how many of the currently airing Jdramas have been being subbed while they are still ongoing. (Subbers are incredible!!) Although there's also been some amazing Kdramas as of late (so don't "put on hold" all of them :P)... But I definitely agree lately there are soooo many great shows to watch and far too little time!!!!
Great article real_Mokona!
This site has the first 4 episodes subbed.
