My dad's Netflix subscription should be up this week but I'll have to pay it. Ugh, I hate Netflix but supporting this is a must must must. It's also may day off too. Yay!

About the last part of what you said, someone explained it to me that it's apart of the culture. Most of us have a culture and I just left it at, "just because something is apart of culture, doesn't mean it's right" (this was said to someone else because they said that only in the US & European countries, daughters and sons think they are owed some independence) . Lots of messed up shit are apart of culture to keep people under control. I like that this series is letting deep conversations be held.

I'm gonna be irritated if they spend most of the last episode with Anueng in a coma and then a small scene of them being happy. I would, however, be glad if they make the last episode 2 hours long but then again, a girl can dream. Either way, in P'Wan I trust. This has been a phenomenal series regardless and has set the standard for me.

I agree with what you said. For Nueng, especially with her grandmother situation, this should've been a no brainer but look how that went...
Anueng should also tell her family to fuck off and leave too.

While I understand Nueng, I've been disappointed in her as well. This isn't a situation where you should be trying to see the good. Anueng's family is toxic. No way in hell is she staying there. Worst, she's an adult. I have the money, so I can take care of her and I know Anueng is going to make something of herself so that part is covered. This isn't about family or whatever. This is serious. Ugh, this series. I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself after next week.

Bruh when the mom went back on her word saying it's best if Anueng doesn't contact her, that's when I'd just say damn it all. They are such vile people. I thought Anueng was young and hasn't lived any life and won't stick with Nueng? If you are so sure of that then let them stay in contact. If I was Nueng, I would've let Anueng lived with me until she was able to support herself. This isn't a girlfriend thing but just removing Anueng from an obvious toxic environment.

Bruh... I almost clicked off the first episode because of the parents. They really trying to piss me off. Piengfah is overseas and can visit her daughter but doesn't and as soon as she hears she's in a relationship with Nueng, she suddenly has free time. Not only does she see her daughter for the first time in a while but proceed to have the most out of pocket conversation and tries to convince her daughter that she misses her. The only thing I'll say is that she had the most compassion about their relationship.

Chet - Father of the year this guy. Him hiring guys to take pictures is just FOUL behavior. He doesn't take any of Nueng's advice and does whatever he pleases under the guise of "looking out" for his daughter. You might be a "father" but you are not her DAD. You don't get to make demands. The way I wanted to flip him over when he barged in talking about Anueng is going to live with her mother and she "can't" stay. I'm grateful Anueng put him back in his place.

Now, I'm not an emotional person and I cry once or twice every year but when Anueng was talking about her feelings... I was destroyed. The way she is delivering her lines. The acting. I just can't. Yoko deserves awards. I cried when she said she didn't want to live anymore. The tears came instantly and my stomach felt heavy.

I love everyone's performance and how everyone was just calling things as they were. Hard to hear but it was facts. You could see how Nueng's mind was being broken by what they were saying to her. The look in her eyes. She's not going to let it out that easily because growing up she had to supress her feelings and it's not easy to open up yourself when suppression is like second nature to you. Faye never fails. When Nueng called into the radio station, I cried because that scene was everything.

It's really in Anueng's best interest to cut that family off. All they see when they look at her is a kid when she's shown more maturity than everyone combined. You don't fight to hold onto a toxic family. If they really care, then they will learn to not only respect her wishes but also try to understand her even if they don't agree. You don't try to dictate a literal adult's life and tell them that you're looking out for them. How does that help Anueng in the long run?

Chet was disrespectful as fuck to Nueng at her house. The way he still managed to also make it about him. Also the grandma telling Nueng that the reason why she's like that is because she wasn't raised with her mother and father??? Lady go fuck yourself. Where does someone like YOU get off critiquing anyone about anything.

My last words to that family and it will be in patois, "Chet, grandma and Piengfah can guh suck dem madda".

I've been fighting not to watch any of the episodes as I just want to make it through Episode 5 first. I don't like seeing them cry and I'm anxious. I don't want it to be over but all great things must come to an end. I will be rewatching for the foreseeable future. This is the one.

I'm actually really liking this. Irene has my heart already.
