This was an awesome drama. Though it was a bit slow in the middle episodes, it kept me going 'cause I really wanted to see how it all turned out. The only thing that was left was to tell us wth happened to Choon Hyang's mother...But it wasn't something that was very relevant, so even without it the story was great.
Honestly, I was avoiding watching this drama for like 3 years. I didn't and still don't like tragedies, so I didn't want to watch it at all. But one day, I decided to give it a go. After all if I didn't like it I could always drop it. Guess what - I watched it in one day.
It really is a tear jerker, I don't usually cry during movies or dramas, but this was different - I was in tears by the 3rd episode. It also gave me a lot to think about and to appreciate my life more.
It really is one of the greatest dramas, all hands down.
This has got to be the most perfect romance ever depicted by a movie. It was so emotional and yet it wasn't. No names were mentioned at all, actually not a single word was exchanged by the two lead actors but you could understand everything by their actions. Indeed this was a wonderful movie that shows exactly how actions can speak louder than any shouted words.
I never thought there could be an actor who could act without using words but here it is. I wasn't expecting Jae Hee to be able to portray the role so well. My opinion of his acting is definitely a lot more positive now.
This is a long comment but this movie IS WORTH IT. =] So I recommend it to anyone who has the time. =]
This drama was just plain wonderful. I loved the characters and I could see how they changed as the drama went on.
The only thing I didn't like is that it focused more on the male lead's problems where as the things that troubled the female lead were basically resolved in like 3 episodes.
Nevertheless, it was a really great drama, a rollercoaster ride from start to finish and I would recommend it. =]
I must a very coldhearted girl...I didn't cry. Not even once. Granted, the drama was very sad but not enough to make me cry...Though I did love the acting by both leads. They were amazing. =]
I don't usually cry while watching dramas of any kind but for this one I did get tears in my eyes. This was one of the best dramas I have ever watched. Even though I was sceptical at first...The acting was magnificent.
Honestly, I agree with the people who said that they don't like the main female character. I also found her very annoying and irrational at times...Otherwise the drama was very good, especially the last 6 episodes. Those were the best in my opinion.
