The spin-off did not help me at all. Actually, it made things worse. Because of this, Our King sounds like a player who could fall in love and fall out of love very easily with random girls he met, first SY, HJ and SB.

At the ending, when they wished in meteor shower, SB clearly sounded that he doesn't really care about CJ or Joseon, all the character development he did after he met CJ are in vain now, JBH goes back to his extremely selfish character.
And, CJ wished to meet with his Queen in next life as normal people, not as King and Queen. If is so, they should have JBH met with a reincarnation of CJ in modern day. It would make sense his reincarnation is a girl now.

I think CJ also loved SY. At the spin-off, he only chose to dislike her after finding out she was from his enemy's clan.

No, So Young is always in her body together with Bong Hwan all this time. Now, BH left and only SY remains.

I miss The King so much in this episode. Hope they better show us many screentime of the King in the last two episodes & spin-off.

Not for me!! It would be so much better with more scenes of the King.

I'm so into the King character right from the start. He may not be your perfect K-drama ML (reference to even try to kill FL at the beginning). He has the lonely sad pairs of eyes which shows how he suffered through out his life. The more I get to know about him, he became my favorite character. The most selfless and calmest character here!
Kim Jung Hyun gave excellent performance.
