I watched it because of ZZH after legend of yunxi and it did satisfie me after all of the angst in the previous drama. I didn't want a twisted plot and a lot of angst and pain through it, I just wanted a good romance and a nice male lead (after ZZH as Fei Ye that was too cold) Xu Jin was much better that he would sacrifice everything for his loved one. So it was just the one suits my mood. Although the annoying thing was about the FL didn't trust ML over and over, despite all the time ML was proving himself to her. Like what any other thing he could do for gaining her trust. But I liked the chemistry between the main couple anyway, I enjoyed seeing them together. Also thank god the ending was happy, like I could not bear any sad ending for this couple after LoYX .
Now I'm reading the novel, hoping for a better ending. I think I'll never let go Fei*Xi .
