Yes that scene was right before he time travelled back to 1995 and it is so emotional. Imagine how much he is regretting that the last thing he said to his dad is that his dad cannot understand him and his love for music and being a band guitarist because he could never hear anyways. I believe this is why Eungyeol was sent back to have a better understanding of his parents' upgrowing conditions, and to hear his 18 years old version of his dad who can hear and speak and experience playing in his dad's band First Love Memory Manipulators where he is the frontman. Yes it must be so hard on him being the only one who can hear in his family and being their link to the hearing world. Yet he does an amazing job but poor him he is quite pitiful. And his passion for music and guitar is such a youthful driving force. Hope he never abandons his dreams and gets encouragements from his family and everyone around him especially Eun Yu.
