I've watched about a hundred dramas for 12 years and still i love this one and find it quite refreshing. It speaks to me and touches me: illness, mental health, friends, love, family, taking time for things, deep conversations, career. Maybe because i'm getting older but it just gets me.❤️🩹❤️🌻🌻💕
What moved me about Love Next Door is its depiction of illness as a chronically ill person irl, and of depression that comes with it. The flaws of the characters which reflect our own human shortcomings are beautiful. And the love and friendship of those around us that help us get through difficult times. All of these are extremely important to me and i love how Love Next has brought them to life. I've watched kdramas for 12 years and have enjoyed all kinds of stories, this one really touches me. Maybe it doesn't speak to you but all its themes touched me deeply like illness (because irl i have a chronical illness), healing ( because i can't really recover but hope to feel better), love, family, friendship, flawed characters (everyone is flawed in real life which makes it relatable).
