I dont think he killed himself in his last life but in this life.....hyeon woo has no power so he was sent by somebody. And Hyeon woo couldnt have killed do jun in his past life because he didnt even know anything about do jun when he was reborn as him.

In his second life, the car accident was caused by one of his family members possibly Seong Jun but the one to carry out the orders was Hyeon Woo (the guy Do Jun was in his past life) so basically he killed himself...
