I'm planning to watch but haven't watched yet so maybe I'm off the mark - but hazarding a guess that he's saying…
No problem!! I was intrigued so I checked out episode 7 and I assume it's the rooftop scene you were referring to- it is pretty much emphasis, and also used as the sentence ending particle. Should be the same as the one where he's throwing his hands around like a rapper x'D I definitely have to watch now, it looks so fun 🤣 Not experienced enough to explain in technical terms why "chigē" is used (instead of "chigau") but it's kinda slang-y and used among young people (if I'm not wrong!). So add chigē + shi and you have chigēshi.

Is there someone who speaks Japanese that could tell me why Aoki seems to add an 'sh' sound to the end of words…
I'm planning to watch but haven't watched yet so maybe I'm off the mark - but hazarding a guess that he's saying "wakannai shi" ("shi" has a couple of uses, but in this case it could just be emphasis)

ooo raul as the lead? (and a high schooler playing a high schooler? bless)
came after hearing sakuma's happy and brief thoughts on the movie on radio since he's a fan of the original and then hearing the theme song (it's got a super catchy and happy vibe)
think i'll give this a try when it comes out

I genuinely enjoyed the lead pair's dynamics so much - Feng Ping was an absolute queen: She handled herself and the drama around her so wonderfully. She really embodies a quiet sort of strength, and that was so inspiring. When the amnesia plot popped up I thought it would go downhill but Jia Nan still chased after her and that was the cutest. The way he only had eyes for her was honestly so different for me from a lot of the other cdramas I've seen. And I think like others mentioned, it felt like they got the least romantic screen time together, although every moment they had was so sweet. Wish I could see more of them together ;;

is the english sub better now?
I watched it on Youtube and the subs seemed fine!

She's brilliant! And I loved her best in Fall In Love - she was incredible.

Person Ozawa Ren
my heart just dropped seeing the news - I've been a fan of Ren since I saw him in the Daiya stage plays so it's been years of loving his portrayal of Eijun and his energetic persona. The fact that there's such a duality to his character and his violent behaviour off-screen, the indescribable pain he caused.. it's too much to wrap my head around

Came for Shin Se Kyung and stayed for everything. I'm loving the characters so far, and how the show depicts their personal struggles (as opposed to having another lead coincidentally appear to make everything instantly okay). The colours are gorgeous too.

I watched for Chae Soo Bin and stayed for everything else. It kind of drew me in, that soft atmosphere and gorgeous palette that accompanied the kind of mundane interactions that main characters had with side characters, all the eccentricities and the different portrayals of grief. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea but it was mine and so emotional for me, boosted by the beautiful OST. And the copious amount of hugs. I love that.

This was my first Kitagawa Keiko drama when I watched it many years back. I really loved it and I've watched it twice. Now I feel like watching it again aaa

I was actually quite impressed by the female lead, especially at the beginning. After that, it became evident that this follows quite a number of shoujo clichés, but one thing I appreciated was Mayuka. She didn't act like most characters in her position do, so that was surprising, and made me feel for her, even. I still don't actually understand things very well from the guy's perspective - it wasn't made apparent that he had slowly been falling for the female lead. But all in all, I felt it wasn't anything special.

I haven't read the manga so my impressions rest purely on the movie. It was cute overall, but the way Kyouta forced her into the relationship typical style was cringe, and some of the things they do are so ridiculous I couldn't help but laugh. It was nice to watch, but it was riddled with a lot of clichés and typical shoujo tropes.

Haven't watched all of them (yet x'D) but I was super happy to see Bitter Blood and Nobunaga Concerto. Plus Rookies and Tumbling. I really enjoyed Tokyo DOGS as well.

I didn't know about the existence of this drama until I played an otome game I fell in love with - which I found out was related to this. And I have to say I really love the drama, mostly for the development of the relationship between the characters. One thing that really struck me is that problems didn't arise because of petty jealousies and other manners of plot devices that are frequently used in Kdrama. While I do enjoy watching those from time to time, I haven't encountered many that portray such a facet to relationships - the main leads got along very fast, and there were many instances where various characters were resolving both external and internal conflicts. The themes presented very really brought across well. I'm glad to have watched it.

Actually, I didn't see this coming because I thought the way they ended the first season was fantastic! With that…
Yeah, that'd be fantastic!
On Nobunaga Concerto: The Movie Aug 9, 2016
Actually, I didn't see this coming because I thought the way they ended the first season was fantastic! With that epic overshadowing with Saburo and Nobunaga plus Honnoji. But this was a nice conclusion and I had an inkling about how it was going to end. A great watch with fantastic acting as usual and accompanying visuals.
