It was so peak for me at first but at the end of ep 6 where asahi got all tipsy that’s when the secondhand embarrassment started coming in. And I feel like they almost exclusively flirt infront of other people and I cringe an insane amount whenever I see stuff like that.
Also in the kiss scenes Watarai is the only one kissing. Asahi just kinda stands there and lets him kiss him. I can’t tell if the actor is just a bad kisser or if they’re trying to make it realistic cus he has no experience 😭 but I hope in the final spin-off Asahi kisses back since it’s an intimate scene.
Im a little disappointed because it was literally on its way to being my favorite bl. But lowkey I don’t really blame anyone but myself. I lowkey find everything cringey so you might like it. 8.5/10
This is my second rewatch after I first watched it when it came out. I rated it a 7/10 and my point still stands ngl. Like it’s good for a 1st bl. But man was the nerd irritating the red guy was giving it his all and he kept flip flopping. He literally didn’t become nice till they started dating tbh. I love it everything about them is so realistic. But lowkey gls need to leave that adultery trope ALONEE. I don’t mind it when the husband is a villain but this guy wasn’t even that bad. Like yeah he’s mad lazy and annoying but it’s not like he’s beating her or smth. I found his crash out very valid. And I hate how the girl wanted her to throw everything away for her. That’s insanely selfish considering she was alr lying abt the bf. I’d find it hard to trust her after that.
Ngl the editors for the trailer were so messy for putting the hands on waist scene in the trailer.
It was more rivals with a lil tension rather than lovers. With the way the trailer went and how we literally see the Latin guy’s butt at the start I thought we’d have at least one freak off.
I like how close Sang Won and Kyunghoon are. If Kyunghoon didn’t have a bf I would’ve thought they were dating lol. It’s refreshing seeing an affectionate friendship like that.

Yeah I feel like whoever wrote the script got tired and just rushed to finish the ending defying all logic and creating a bunch of plot holes. But it’s definitely not the worst ending I’ve seen.

I must of been high when I first watched this cus I rated it a 0 out of 10. It’s not that good but it’s defo not that low. My new rating is like a 6. My past self rated it low for no chemistry and I can see where I was coming from. But I wouldn’t blame the actors it’s mostly the dry script. Also Ik this is basic and ENDING SPOILERSSSS but the college scene at the end had me more interested in anything else.

Agreed, that’s why I kinda hate flashbacks it’s just a waste of time. Although I still didn’t love that we lost an episode cus of the flashback this is definitely one of the better flashbacks I’ve seen. Only an episode and straight to the point.
