i finished season 1 and season 2. the plot was intriguing and has a lot of conflict. i love how zhang ruoyun portray the fan xian character!! he looks so genuine, smart, kind, and strategist at the same time. i also love the chemistry between him and chen pingping. Chen pingping always show that he cared a lot and help fan xian. and then, i find the emperor character was so ambiguous. i can see that he favor fan xian a lot and really want to have a nice relationship with him. but we also see that he is a mastermind that always scheming everything, doing everything to achieve his goal, while not letting anyone know his true intention.
but tbh this season still has a lot of thing that left unexplained. i hope season 3 would explain it more and launch soon!!🥺🫶🫶
i just finished watching it andd love it so much🤍🤍 in this drama, i like the friendship between the character. and for me, i really love lei wujie. he's the reason i keep watching it, because every time he's appear or doing something, i found it very funny. he' also very kind, sincere, and loyal to his friend. from the start untill the end, he shows a lot of improvement too. i am so happy seeing his growth🥹
tbh the plot is so interesting! it is a first time i watch a wuxia that feels so complicated. there are so much character and i just know that this drama is connected to DY. i should've watched that first but it's okay, i am gonna watch DY after this.
but in my opinion, one point that missing from the drama is the weakness of the MC. the MC supposed to be the strongest from all. i dont know where's lacking, but somehow it didn't feel like that. but it's okay because toward the end, everything feels much better. good drama indeed!🤍
