She was not referring to friendship, she was talking romantically. This comes after she has been confessed too, you can't remove context. She literally said "I think I liked him first, It was when I was really young and so I gradually forgot about it. Strangely those feelings are still so vivid."
Why would she forget friendship feelings when they are still friends. I don't know why you are avoiding the very obvious and misinterpreting very obvious statements.
Obsessive ex are not easy to get rid of especially also emotionally manipulative ones.
ML should also stop working with his ex too then.

Hate to break it to you but there are bad and selfish mother's out there. Not every mother is selfless and kind. Many people relate to what the FL experiences with her mother. Many have even experienced worse. So it isn't unrealistic. Mother's aren't always saints.

The question is why is there a taking sides. Why is there a villainizing one against the other. Doesn't make any sense to me.
There is also now a measurement of who likes who more. Relationships can't be measured like that. And I think there very obvious signs that she likes him romantically.
People just keep ignoring the very obvious information just to continue the narrative that they want to continue about the FL.
People first asked did she like the ML, they answered that saying she even liked him first.
People fully ignored that. Still trying to continue the narative that she doesn't like ML romantically. When her heart was literally pounding when she was in the store with him.
Then they keep saying she don't care ML where ther multiple examples of her caring.
Like what more do people want from the FL. I really don't get it.
Also how is the FL leading on two guys at the same time, she multiple times has told her ex that she doesn't want to see him, but he keeps coming around. It is not her fault that her ex is obsessive.

The FL came back home for desperate rest and hoping to at least get comfort from her family but yet they have been demanding for her to go back to her life before . So that the mother can boast to her friends.

That scene in episode 8 with the family was infuriating. No ounce of caring about FL happiness or mental health.
I need to see their faces when they find out.

I think the FL is just not your cup of tea and that's ok.
There is a reason ML fell for FL and it's because of the kindness and support she has shown him over many years.
Life is messy, life is not perfect.
People will date multiple people and have ex's.
Ml is hanging out with his ex and even working with his ex but there is no complaints there...
But some how FL gets the critique. I just think people are giving double standards.

Exactly! Pressure to succeed and be perfect since young from the family and her having to overcompensate for her irresponsible brother.
The brother really annoyed me in episode 8.

I am confused why people keep saying that the FL doesn't care about ML.
Where there are multiple times in her life she has been there for him more than his own family.

1. Protected him from bullies when he was younger.

2. Helped him to eat when he wasn't eating anything when he came to Korea.

2. She literally missed her whole exam to support him in swimming, was shouting so loudlly and cheering when he was swimming.

3. Bought him a towel to support his dream for going to the Olympics.

4. Even after accident, she was persistent in checking on the ML, going as far as even using a ladder to climb to his room. She literally got him out of slump he was in.

5. Bought a pomegranate tree as a gift for the opening of his business.

6. She helped him with Greip deal even when she knew she will come in contact with the people who mistreate her.

7. Brought her first meal she ever cooked to him.

8. Asked so many times if the results of the competition was out to check if ML won.

Like what more can she give. While all the while she has been dealing with health and relationship issues.

Ok she leaned on the ex but let's think of the psychology. She has a habit of not wanting to show her struggle to the people she actually loves the most.

Of course it doesn't looking good her leaning on the ex, it would hurt the ML feelings but to her it's like she is protecting her loved ones. This is a habit she has to unlearn.

I just think that what will convince people that the FL actually cares for the ML. Just because she is in a complicated situation with her ex and life, that doesn't just equate to she doesn't care about ML
Love is not so calculative or measueable like that.

Are there cases where people become cancer free and then live for a long time. Of course they will still have to do check ups.
Because I tried to look around and most of the article titles were talking about the survival rate after diagnosis but not after being cancer free.

Haein said it will be a party from 11th episode to episode 16. I am going to take his word for it that it means it's a happy ending. I think episode 9 and 10 will be dealing with the issue of FL not telling ML and family she was sick. I don't think she will be sick again but they might be alot of tears those episodes (9&10)
I wish they didn't take this route and I wish they didn't end episode 8 where they ended it. Waiting for episode 9 will be more torturous.
