I’ve said before but when Jihan was almost kissed by that other guy when he took him back to his room he pulled his head away and then immediately left the room…he removed him self from a very messy situation where as Jaejun keeps putting him self in situations where he’s alone with a guy that clearly likes him and just the other day kissed him or at least tried to! Hes not as dumb or clueless as he likes to pretend because he has boyfriend so he clearly knows when some is trying to pursue him romantically! I really hate that this the route they went with his character they turned him into a thirsty hoe…

You’re absolutely right the intention is what matters! Both times Jaejun seemed like he was all for kissing that guy! I still see the kiss but yeah it doesn’t really matter. And what’s sad is when Jihan took that guy back to his room and that guy tried to kiss him Jihan immediately pulled away and then left the room….where as Jaejun is just out here being soo messy and weird! Also I think they did kiss in the forest because that guy seemed way too comfortable trying to kiss him again! If Jaejun had rejected him or pulled away in the forest I don’t think he would have tried it again and risk being rejected a second time!

They have to show it because its like one of the only ways to MAYBE and a big MAYBE redeem him has a character if they show him push the other guy away in the forest! OMG same...I was fuming......they totally destroyed Jaejun as a character with this season...and at the end of this episode Jaejun was crying I was like "Save all them fake ass tears bitch! You started this!" AND I LOVED HIM last season so for me to go from that to this....that's crazy!

I went back and watched the kiss scene like 5 times and they totally kissed at 16:09 you can see their lips touch and you can hear the little lip smack! I will give you that we don't know 100% if they kissed in the forest but its pretty much confirmed that they did! At this point I don't put it past Jaejun to have kissed that other guy twice! I liked Jaejun sooo much last season but this season they totally killed his character in my eyes! He's a messy ass little hoe! I'm right there with you his actions make me want to drop the show as well....I'm honestly considering it!
I didn't go into detail because I thought it was obvious when I said ANY romance. Its just literally what I said ANY romance at all start happening (courtship, stolen glaces, touches, confessions, ect all of that is romance).
I'm waiting for more romance lol....from the first 3 episodes it didn't seem like things were progressing much in that area. I'm hoping by episode 10 they have at least started to move into that direction! Yes EXACTLY everything you said I agree with 100%!!! Some people don't understand why others have major issues with Jin and you just gave a perfect example of why! At least with the other guys in the group you knew who and what they were but no Jin tried to act all nice and be the cool guy but hes actually a wolf in sheep's clothing! And it honestly says a lot about his character....that he stilled wanted to be friends with these guys who bullied a poor boy (a boy he had a crush on mind you) for NO REASON AT ALL! Like major ew!!! Phee had major captain save a hoe vibes lol I'm sorry but he did......and whats worst is he tried saving the wrong HOE LOL like Jin literally ruined Nons life (by exposing that video....which lead to everything getting 10000000x worse) and in a round about way lead to his death......and Phee honestly didn't even care when Jin confessed to all that.....dumb lol I would like to add that the only thing I think New did that was wrong was killing that older guy....he didn't deserve that! By that point New was already gone.....sadly him dying probably was the best ending for him.

I know I'm late in replaying LOL life has been busy! I saw that Day wrote a book and I still felt like he took no accountability! Like if you write a book about giving second chances then how about having a proper conversation and apologizing for your role in the break up when you meet said person! Instead he just let Mhok take all the blame. Still very yuck for me! He may have wrote that book but when they met in person a few years later he acted like he couldn't stand him!
See that last part I don't buy....Mhok told Day many times about his fear of losing people because he felt he let down his sister and she ended up killing herself.....So Day did know why he lied. And that is so awful to make major life changing decisions for your partner! "I'm going to break up with you so you have NO choice but to take that career that you really don't even want in the first place! Look at me I'm such a saint sacrificing my love for you!" I call BS on that NO ONE should force choices for their supposed "loved"ones or manipulate them into doing something they have expressed they really didn't want to do in the first place! I just feel like Day is a very selfish person and its okay to be selfish sometimes but he doesn't give others that same grace!
Just finished watching the show I enjoyed it....wish it ended a bit differently but yeah overall really liked it! Somethings I want to say are: poor baby White he did not deserve that to happen to him literally the only innocent one in the series....so sad! New: I don't care what anyone says...I'm 100% on news side! The law didn't do shit for him and his family! They just wanted to sweep everything under the rug! His baby brother was bullied and killed, his mom died, his dad offed himself...umm yeah at that point its Kill Bill time those assholes needed to pay and he deserved his revenge! When your little sibling is murdered and taken from you that is a special kind of pain that will never go away....I knew exactly how New was feeling ....you just want to burn the whole world down....luckily for me I had a great support system in my mom and older sister but damn I couldn't even imagine how to deal with that on your own! Non: My poor baby Non.....he made ALOT of dumb mistakes and I had a hard time getting on board with his actions but at the same time he just so badly wanted to be loved.....from anyone...... he joined a friend group that clearly didn't like him and tortured him and then ran into the arms of an ADULT MAN (SO NASTY AND WRONG) who only wanted his body...poor boy....let this be a warning to parents out there pay attention to your kids and show them love or they will try and find it in really bad places! Phee: I'm conflicted....on one had I can kinda understand that he caught feelings for Jin but I also don't like that he kinda didn't care about Non after a while (at least that's how it seemed to me)....he was kind like "OHH NEW BOYFRIEND!" and just kinda didn't care about finding out what happened to Non anymore. Jin: Hes still a rat in my opinion he was a coward for not having Nons back (since he claims to care about him so much) and hes an asshole for uploading that video and making everything 100000% more worse! Rest of the friend group: They got what they deserved!

So I am really late I know BUT I just finished this series!l FINALLY! I Been holding off on watching the last episode since it aired.....and I have to say I really hated the last episode LOL!!! In the end Day really really REALLY rubbed me the wrong way......like up until the last part of episode 11 I really liked Day but...damn......that was some serious character assassination right there! The way he just tossed Mhok aside without even talking it through or taking some time apart! It came off almost as if he was just like ready to dump him for any perceived slight, like honestly that was kind yuck for me.... like did he really mean that little to Day? Did these past months of getting to know him really not matter or count for anything? What because he assumed that Mhok felt sorry for him? Really? Really? Girl really?! Yeah major YUCK for me!
I was hoping episode 12 would bring it back BUT NOPE the whole episode was Mhok walking around like a lost and wounded puppy kissing Days ass in the hopes that he will get back together with him. When Day says "Should I give him a second chance? What if he hurts me again"? I was literally like what in the actual fuck are you talking about? Are you high or something? Because what did Mhok even do?!?!? Not once NOT EVEN ONCE in the lats episode did Day validate Mhoks trauma and fear of losing his loved ones.....instead we get Mhok apologizing TWICE to Day and taking the entire blame for their breakup......so disgusting! When Mhok said "Thank you for breaking up with me" I literally cringed the fuck out....like no baby you did nothing wrong don't take the blame on by yourself!
Over all I really loved the first 11 and half episodes! It was a great ride BUT wow that last episode left a BADDDD taste in my mouth! I don't think I'll come back and re watch this anytime soon sadly :(!
I appreciate that the series is not simply copying the novel word for word. While Priest didn't intend the novel…
So when you say " Priest didn't intend the novel to be a romance" .....does that mean the show is adding the romance aspect to the story that wasn't there in the novel? Do they even end up getting together in the novel? Based off the trailer for the show it seems like they will end up together or at the very least becoming romantically involved.
